Promotion and publication of historical sources relating to the history of Wiltshire

Advance the education of young people in agricultural affairs, home crafts, country life and related subjects and in the interest of their welfare, provide and promote facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations which will improve their physical and mental wellbeing and will assist in the development of self-confidence, self-reliance and responsibility as members of the community.

To cultivate the Dramatic and Operatic Arts and improve and educate the public taste in those arts.By performing fully staged and orchestrated operas/operettas each year in the Windsor/Eton/Maidenhead area.

To train volunteers drawn from Christian churches of different denominations to provide a listening ear and practical help to the socially marginalised and the needy. We typically patrol the streets of Newbury on Friday and Saturday nights and work in partnership with the police, local councils and a range of voluntary and statutory organisations in order to reach and help all those in need.

To help raise funds for Whitelands Park Primary School.

Driver Training

To produce a biennial series of performances for an audience of a Boxford Masque (a play with music, dance and drama) based on the original scripts of Charlotte Peake as a community event in the local area

To identify composition students age 14 - 19 who would benefit from the support the Foundation is able to offer. To enable selected composition students to access educational activities which are not generally available to them such as tutorial mentorships. To provide public performances of selected students' compositions, promoting these to reach a wide public audience.

General charitable purposes

The objective of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school. This includes the running of seasonal Fairs / Fetes, events at the school including Discos, Bingo nights, and Quiz Evenings, etc. The Association also purchases and provides equipment and events to the school.

Fund raising to purchase instruments and other assets.Fund raising to enable students bands to go on tour.Assisiting with the production of concerts and other events.Providing refreshments, music and accessories for purchase.

To promote an interest in and understanding of astronomy and related sciences, especially to young people, by means of speaker meetings, practical observing sessions and presentations to schools and other institutions.

Parent/carer baby and toddler group for babies and children up to 3 years of age.

Hold 4 Committee meeting per year. Occasionally organise fund raising events to raise awareness of the value of our church to the community. Request a 'wish list' from the Parochial Church Council so that we can donate some of our funds towards various projects for the Church.

The aim if the Trust is to enhance and enrich the education and school life of the pupils of St bartholomew's School, by providing extra resources that cannot be met within the annual budget provided by the department of Education.

Berkshire Record Society is an educational charity which promotes research into and the publication of historic records relating to the Royal County of Berkshire (including that part of the historic county transferred to Oxfordshire in 1974)

Our activities include a programme of garden visits, lectures and talks; research to produce a Gazetteer ofBerkshire parks and gardens; advice to those involved in the management of such sites; and acting asa statutory consultee on planning applications that impact on Berkshire's historically significant designed landscapes.

The Baster and Butler Charities were amalgamated in 1909 for the purpose of using any income for the benefit of the poor or deserving of the Parish of Inkpen. In 1931 the charity joined with Inkpen Poor's Allotment (est. 1815 after the Enclosure Act) to relieve poverty in Inkpen. An annual 'gift' (usually monetary) is distributed to mainly elderly residents of the local parish.

The objects of the association are to advance and enhance the education of the pupils at The Castle School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).

HELPING LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES

Operating as part of The Scout Association providing activities for Beavers (children aged 6 to 8 years), Cubs (children aged 8 to 10 1/2 years), and Scouts (children aged 10 1/2 to 14 years).

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL IN THAMES VALLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS

To encourage interest in organ music, not only amongst players of the instrument but amongst all with an interest in this musical genre. To hold regular monthly organ recitals by local and visiting players. To visit other organs, when possible. To host occasional recitals by national or international celebrity organists, when finances permit. To hold occasional master classes.
