Berkshire Record Society is an educational charity which promotes research into and the publication of historic records relating to the Royal County of Berkshire (including that part of the historic county transferred to Oxfordshire in 1974)

HELPING LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES

Parent/Carer toddler group. One session per week, term time only, Tuesday. Where parents/carers and their children can mix and play in a friendly environment.

Bradfield WI provides a forum for local women to support one another, discuss relevant current issues and enjoy a variety of speakers and outings.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL IN THAMES VALLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS

Organising fundraising events with the aim of funding school clubs, school trips and other projects outside of the School's normal budget for the benefit if the education and development of the pupils at the school and the wider school community

We make allotments available to the general public within the Speen Parish boundary, or from elsewhere if and as necessary to ensure all allotments are actively cultivated

Hold 4 Committee meeting per year. Occasionally organise fund raising events to raise awareness of the value of our church to the community. Request a 'wish list' from the Parochial Church Council so that we can donate some of our funds towards various projects for the Church.

In accordance with the terms of the Foundation Deed dated 17th November 1855, the Trustees meet annually to distribute the income received from the Trust Funds by way of appropriate grants to churches within the present and ancient Diocese of Gloucester.

The object of the Society is to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, and in particular the Savoy operas, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts, to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the Committee shall from time to time determine.

School Parent Teacher Association for Mary Hare School for Deaf students. To provide funds for equipment, activities etc for the children at the school.

The Cholsey Silver Band functions to offer a service to both the players of the band and also the local community. The junior and senior bands meet once a week to practice and to train new players. The bands also perform at local events (eg Remembrance service, Mayor's parade and local fetes) as well as concerts throughout the year.

To ensure survivability of Brightwalton C.E. (Aided) Primary School.

Within the town of Newbury, to help people in necessitous circumstances in particular by the provision of grants at Christmas time. To relieve the elderly, by providing funds for the annual Mayor's Drive and Tea Party. To help fund other charitable organisations within the town.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING ENBORNE CE PRIMARY SCHOOL BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FUNDING FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE IN AUGMENTATION OF THE FUNDING PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY AND FRIENDS OF ENBORNE SCHOOL.

To provide support for existing and retired members of South Central Ambulance Service (Incorporating Hampshire Ambulance Service) Benevolent Fund when a need arises.

To identify composition students age 14 - 19 who would benefit from the support the Foundation is able to offer. To enable selected composition students to access educational activities which are not generally available to them such as tutorial mentorships. To provide public performances of selected students' compositions, promoting these to reach a wide public audience.
