We are restoring to running order the last Brighton passenger tram car left in the world. We are currently rebuilding the body and have now started to tackle the electrics. We own a truck and other electrical components. We allow public access to the tram and we display frequently at shows to raise money and to educate people about this project and also have a second Brighton tram, works car 1.

Income applied towards the upkeep of a recreation ground held upon charitable trusts in the parish of Aldingbourne.

Help and support for homeless youth in the UK and in Uganda. Practical help is given by volunteers to individuals and families with children under immediate threat of homelessness. Grants and/or loans may be made and the Charity currently provides financial support for a children's home in southern Uganda with approx. 30 residents.

ASSISTING PERSONS IN NEED OF HELP WITH THE WELFARE OF THEIR PETS, IN THE MAIN THE ELDERLY, UNEMPLOYED OR DISABLED. ALSO ASSISTING WITH HOMELESS ANIMALS. PETS IN CRISIS AND WILDLIFE.

To provide riding opportunities for disabled children & adults

Gives aid to Christian scientists in need of nursing and or pastoral care either within East & West Sussex or living within 40 miles of Brighton. In addition we give financial support to Christian science nurses living within 40 miles of Brighton for training purposes.

Friends of Park Surgery seeks to support patients by provision of medical equipment & transport services to the practice. Educational meetings and a quarterly newsletter promote the work of FOPS and coffee mornings provide an opportunity for members to socialise.

Provision of sporting and recreational facilities and an open space for the residents of Henfield

To apply the income, or capital at the discretion of the Trustees, for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention; to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care, treatment and welfare generally of such an animal

The Charity provides assistance for education, training, relief of poverty or religious activities for children / young people and the elderly and other charities or voluntary bodies based within the Parish of Funtington in West Sussex. It also makes grants to individuals residing in the Parish

THE OYSTER PROJECT IS A MEMBER LED DISABLED & OLDER PERSONS SELF-HELP CHARITY FOUNDED AND RUN BY DISABLED PEOPLE.THE MAJORITY OF OUR TRUSTEES AND ALL CORE PROJECT DELIVERERS ARE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR ELDERLY.WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO VOLUNTEER IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES, DEVELOPED & SUPPORTED BY EACH OTHER. THE CHARITY HOLDS THE QUEEN'S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE.

As well as their concert work, Meridian Winds is always delighted to play for local community based festivals and welcomes enquiries from organisers. We also work closely with local schools and colleges, encouraging young musicians to enjoy their music making and broadening their knowledge of this very accessible medium through workshops and concerts.

SPORT AND RECREATION

The charity gives grants to help fund projects which further either or both of our objectives. In addition we look to directly raise awareness amongst the public about all matters relating to cardiac conditions.

Help suitable boys as part of their education and with a view to character building through sea training. Help young people as part of their education to extend their knowledge of other nations. Help poor and deserving young people to get a good start in life. Provide additional comforts for elderly people in distressed financial circumstances.

Achievement Awards for progress beyond expectation to students at Steyning Grammar School who are not high performing or naturally gifted, including those with Special Needs, in academic or non-academic or extra curricula activities, including voluntary work in the larger community. Achievement Awards to Voluntary Community Service projects undertaken by students.

OUR AIM IS TO PRESERVE , AND TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION INTO, THE HERITAGE OF RUSTINGTON, IN PART BY PROVISION OF A MUSEUM.

West Sussex Learning Links supports adults with learning disabilities to access mainstream learning and leisure and social activities in the community with support from volunteer 'buddies'.

1. To promote for the public benefit the advancement, appreciation, understanding andeducation of music.2. To relieve the needs of refugees and others who are victims of war and trouble by theprovision of music therapy.

The object of the charity is to distribute a proportion of the income from the Henry Smith Estate for the relief of those aged 65 or over, poor or infirm people in parish of East Grinstead, Ashurst Wood and Forest Row.
