StART is a group of local residents who supply, install and maintain a number of defibrillators in and around the village of Storrington in West Sussex. These are installed in yellow weatherproof cabinets and are accessible 24/7. Training in CPR and in the use of the defibrillators is available via the contact telephone number in each of the defibrillator cabinets.

Provision of CDs containing local news and interviews to anyone with reading difficulties, who is blind or partially sighted or has a disability which makes reading difficult. This service is offered free, weekly, all year round.

The charity operates within the area of East Grinstead where the branch membership of some 60 members and families reside. It collects for annual RAFA UK Battle of Britain Wings Day every September. It provides constant social and welfare support and activites for RAFA members and families and makes regular donations to local charities and organisations considered worthy by the branch membership.

We raise awareness about Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour, a cancer that generally affects teenagers,at all fund-raising events within Sussex. Grants are given to a suitable research programme, chosen annually by the trustees, to improve treatments for this type of cancer.
