ICANN provide information and advocacy services across Lancashire. We support vulnerable people to give them a voice, empower, increase resilience, and improve their lives. Current projects include financial inclusion, advocacy for disability related benefits, in some areas we have a form filling service for benefits. ICANN also provide advocacy support at medical assessments, benefit tribunals

the acquisition, restoration and management of the Grade II* listed building, Astley Hall(known as Dam House), together with the surrounding woodlands.

The Association exists to promote the benefit of persons whose family origins are the Yemen or from a BME background, particularly by the provision of education and training, preserving and promoting culture and language, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress within our community and providing access to leisure and recreational activities.

We support and empower disabled children and young people aged 0-25 and their families. By offering advice, signposting and listening. We develop and deliver bespoke training material to families and the wider community. OUR STUDENTS ARE WORKING TOWARDS AN ACCREDIATION FROM ASCENTIS, FORMERLY OCNW FOR EMPLOYABILITY AND ASDAN 'INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS'.

We support the Polish Saturday School in Manchester by providing teaching resources to further the educational and cultural program leading to national qualifications at GCSE, AS and A level in the Polish language. We hire suitable premises, and employ both paid and volunteer staff in teaching or support capacities, and ensure the health and safety of all students attending the school.

Founded for the benefit of workers in the British Textile Industry the charity's work includes the promotion of medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of ailments and diseases to which such workers are especially liable.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Langley and their immediate environs by working together with inhabitants, Local Authorities and voluntary organisations in a common effect to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

Breastfeeding Together is a registered charity providing positive peer support from pregnancy to early years and beyond. We aim to improve the health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities within communities by providing pregnancy, parenting and infant feeding information and support in a variety of ways.

Manchester Histories celebrates, reveals and raises awareness of the histories and heritage of Greater Manchester through the development of community engagement events and projects and the Manchester Histories Festival

We aim to maintain Lancashire Boys and Girls Clubs as a direct delivery organisation through the continuance of a comprehensive programme of activities and projects for young people and provide practical support and advice to club staff, members and management committee trustees.

A local independent church with activities for church members and wider community including: parent & toddler group; counselling; Boys & Girls Brigades; Kids Church; youth club. Charitable work locally includes helping the homeless and vulnerable. To provide cricket facilities to the local and surrounding communities of Howe Bridge, Atherton.We operate 3 senior teams and 5 junior teams (aged 9-18) as well running the AllStars program for 4-8 year olds, promoted by the England & Wales Cricket Board.Away from cricket we also up our ground and facilities to the wider community to act as a focal point and bring people together.

To advance charitable purposes (as pertains to the laws of England and Wales) in particular but not limited to the prevention and relief of poverty alongside community development, within the wider region of Stockport, Cheshire & Greater Manchester by means of grants and awards, to charities and other such organisations that provide public benefit.
