Religious Activities

Grants are awarded to voluntary groups throughout the North West, who provide sports, leisure and health orientated activities for young people. Greater Manchester Blood Bikes provides an out of hours courier service staffed by unpaid volunteers to NHS hospitals and hospices in the Greater Manchester area transporting Blood, Donor breast milk, samples and other items used for medical or the surgical treatment of patients for Doctors ,Hospitals, Hospices, Laboratories and Chemists free of charge.

Grant making charity which makes donations to a wide range of charities and other community organisations which provide charitable benefits for communities within Greater Manchester, in particular, organisations for young people, provision for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and disadvantaged, support for educational initiatives by arts organisations and support for community groups.

We:- conduct trap/neuter/return programmes for feral cats and rehome to safer environments where possible-work with other organisations including charities and shelters with a similar ethos in order to support cats in need- support cat owners with the veterinary care of their cats in cases where it is deemed the cat will suffer without this- educate owners and the public re: neutering

AALA (Adventurous Activities Licencing Association) registered we offer a variety of adventurous activities, including outdoor pursuits, training, workshops, group work and environmental studies.Ormside Mill can accommodate self catered groups of up to 20 people & up to 20 campers.
