Our main service uses music to benefit people with dementia and their carers. People can access Music Therapy @ Home, Together in Song singing groups in care homes (led by trained volunteers), Music Therapy in care homes and Sing 2 Remember groups in the community and Mindset. We also provide programmes for people with chronic lung disease and other health conditions through Social Prescribing.

Alkionides UK supports low-income families from Cyprus undergoing medical treatment in UK hospitals. It provides free accommodation in north London, the Alkionides 'Nest'. We also have a dynamic team in Birmingham and the Midlands who similarly support patients sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We raise funds with the help of generous sponsors and by organising cultural events and social functions

Girlguiding Surrey West covers the Boroughs of Elmbridge, Guildford, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, Woking and Waverley. We aim to sustain and promote a stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities based on Guiding principles for girls and young women aged 5 - 25 years, delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

We support refugees and their families to ensure they are given the protection they need, are able to settle successfully in the local community,rebuild their lives in safety and dignity and be treated with respect and understanding. A well-led volunteer team work with 8 staff members to undertake case-work, mentoring for clients, fundraising and awareness raising in the local community.

The Charity provides practical help and advice to people affected by hearing loss. Our volunteers help people in supported housing with hearing aid maintenance/advice. Our Equipment Service helps with alerting, amplifying and telephone equipment. Hearing Support Services in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Suffolk Hearing Advisory Service, and West Northants pilot support NHS hearing aid users.

Fund raising via events organised within our industry for donations to charitable causes plus 3rd world relief after disasters.

We provide information, advice and advocacy support to people from ethnic minority and/or migrant backgrounds on a range of issues, including welfare benefits and housing. We work with people from over 40 different nationalities. We host community lunches that bring together service users, staff, volunteers and representatives from other service providers.

Working with local volunteers we put on high quality arts events on local spaces in rural areas.

An inclusive children's charity providing for under 11 year olds and their families. It operates 50 weeks a year, from 8am till 6pm, with a pre-school group, breakfast and after-school club, holiday club and pre-playgroup for children with special needs. It offers training and volunteering opportunities, offers a special needs toy library and provides internal and external creche services.

Home-Start Southwark is a children's charity working in the London Borough of Southwark. Formed in July 1995, and incorporated on 23 September 2004 as a charitable company. Home-Start Southwark provides practical and emotional support to struggling parents enabling them to create happier, healthier lives for their children. This is achieved through training a team of home-visiting volunteers.

We provide Chaplaincy and Listening Services for people in workplaces and community situations of all descriptions across South Yorkshire, particularly but not exclusively supporting people through the difficulties of life situations. We also deliver training on various aspects of listening and support to volunteers, charities and other organisations.

Provision of professional counselling to adults of 18 years+. Donation according to means negotiated. Clients mostly in low income bracket & unable to afford counselling elsewhere.60 volunteer qualified counsellors & mature students in last stage of Diploma/Degree in Counselling staff the service.
