The Green Heart of East London, managing 32 acres of metropolitan green space as a country park; providing environmental education for children and youth especially the disadvantaged; equestrian centre, rare breeds of farm animals and poultry, childrens nursery; cafe and shop; training opportunities for long term unemployed; volunteering opportunities galore.

To enhance the quality of life within communities and neighbourhoods by supporting and developing voluntary action in the Borough of Knowsley. To support and develop the work of voluntary and community organisations. To provide and circulate information relevant to the work of voluntary and community groups. To act as a focal point and resource for voluntary and community groups.

Providing year round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual (learning disabilities). Currently the charity serves 8000 athletes annually supported by over 2800 volunteers.

The Galapagos Conservation Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the conservation needs of Galapagos. They fund projects, research and education initiatives with local partners and manage membership schemes, awareness campaigns, events and appeals in the UK. The Trust is the primary source of information about Galapagos in the UK.

Northamptonshire Mind works to promote and support good mental health within the areas of Northampton, Daventry, Wellingborough, Corby, East and South Northants.Service provisions include: Peer to peer support, a young peoples service, gender sensitive services, community access projects, user-run services and volunteering opportunities.

As a UK membership umbrella organisation, ARC UK provides information, training and support, networking opportunities and promotes best practice in service provision for people with a learning disability; as a campaigning organisation it seeks to influence policy and practice at local and national level.

The principle object of the trust is to raise funds for the Missionary work of St. Patrick's Missionary Society Ireland in Africa, Brazil and West Indies.

The Shipwrecked Mariners' Society provides financial support to retired seafarers (Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleet) and their dependants and those unable to continue working at sea through accident, disability, illness or for compassionate reasons. The Charity operates through a nationwide network of volunteers.The Society makes annual awards for acts of skill and gallantry at sea.

RSPCA Suffolk Central runs a Re-Homing Centre (also a holding area for injured wildlife until transfer/release) and Veterinary Clinics, which provide heavily subsidised care for the animals of people on low incomes. We offer low-cost microchipping, advice, and help with neutering/operations, etc., for people on low incomes. We run 5 shops which play a big role in our fundraising.

We aim to encourage and inspire the best use of music, above all in Christian worship, formation and outreach. We do this by both direct and indirect education and training. Through our staff, volunteers and partnerships, we provide short courses, extended learning programmes, publications and resources, advice and advocacy. We work with people of all ages, abilities and levels of resource.

Our overseas activities include shipment of barrels to the Caribbean Islands and Ethiopia at the request of their community leaders, filled with clothing and books. Raise funds on behalf of Christian Community appeals in Ethiopia.Continue to raise funds to renovate our building, formerly a cinema then nightclub into a community centre / place of worship.

The October Gallery is an arts complex dedicated to the appreciation of the transvangarde - the cross-cultural avant garde. The Gallery hosts exhibitions of art from around the world, talks on art and science, poetry readings, theatre and dance performances. Support is from sales of art, rental of the Gallery's unique facilities, grants, donations, staff, volunteers and friends.

To raise funds and invite and receive contributions by way of subscriptions, donations or otherwise to supplement as the League thinks fit the resources of the hospital service in consultation with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust; to support the hospital by means of voluntary service; to provide facilities for patients and relatives.

We provide education, training, volunteering and associated support for excluded adults in Greater Manchester. Our services are aimed at adults who have been through some form of resettlement process related to substance misuse, homelessness, mental illnes, or offending behaviour.
