Tate Foundation's principal activities are to raise funds to support the Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery

The charity provides support for national animal welfare organisations and locally based re-homing centres through a combination of grants, joint fundraising activities and events. The charity also operates small animal adoption centres in a large number of Pets at Home stores.

We support patients and families, clinical care teams and scientists who are working towards the common goal of improving mental health. We are the hospital charity for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). We fundraise and support projects across SLaM, King's College London, our local community and nationally. We back better care, recovery and prevention of mental illness.

LBHS aims to provide a first class academic and physical education for young persons of both sexes from age 3 to 11.Up to 10 means-tested bursaries are awarded annually for children in the Junior section of the School.We also offer facilities to local sports clubs;societies;charities & the church, as well as fund raising for a wide range of charities, local, national and international annually.

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the public principally but not exclusively in the local government area of Salford and its environs (area of benefit). Keele SU operates a number of activities and services, all for the benefit of its members.Activities include; community representation and advocacy to influence the student experience, individual representation and advocacy to support students facing difficulties, community-based student activities, volunteering and sports facilitation, retail, catering, printing and entertainments.

The NGS raises money for national nursing caring and gardening charities by receiving donations and other support as a result of opening gardens of quality, character and interest to the public. County teams raise funds primarily from donations from garden openings which are sent to Head Office. Gardens are promoted by the annual publication - The Yellow Book; the NGS website and County booklets.

Fundraising for restoration. Publication of historical and technical information. Public meetings on related matters. Collection of archives and artefacts displayed on the Internet and available for research.

The Charity undertakes as part of its fundraising, various activities involving both staff and the general public to generate income. All income is utilised for the benefit of staff and patient welfare within the Trust.

Fund raising and distribution

Cornwall VSF is an umbrella body for all community and voluntary organisations working or based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It tries to act as the voice of the local third sector and provides advocacy, brokerage, communication and development services for charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

TO ENABLE AND SUPPORT PEOPLE TO BE ACTIVE CITIZENS AND PLAY A ROLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEERING. WE DEVELOP AND DELIVER HIGH IMPACT VOLUNTEER-LED SOLUTIONS TO TACKLE SOME OF THE MOST DIFFICULT CHALLENGES FACING INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES TODAY. WE FOCUS ON THE NEEDS OF FOUR DISTINCT COMMUNITIES; OLDER AND RETIRED PEOPLE, DISABLED PEOPLE, VULNERABLE FAMILIES AND YOUNG PEOPLE.

The Charity supports over 17500 students and has Membership Services which are funded by a grant from the University of Lincoln (UoL) and surplus from it's Commercial Services arms. It works in partnership with UoL and other stakeholders for the benefit of it's members. The Charity provides Academic representation, Advice, Welfare services, Sports & Societies & volunteering/employability services.

The main object of the charity is to support the Catholic Church in mission dioceses throughout the world. This support is most tangible in the funds raised and distributed but is most keenly felt in the spiritual and pastoral unity which is generated.Therefore we have two main areas of activity, mission animation and education, and fund raising - without the one we could not have the other!

Young Enterprise empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills. We make the connection between school and the world of work, enabling young people to develop the knowledge and attitudes they need to succeed. More than 214,000 young people from across England and Wales have participated in a Young Enterprise learning experience this year supported by around 6,000 volunteers.

The National Youth Agency works in partnership with a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations to support and improve services for young people. Our particular focus is on youth work and we believe strongly that by investing in young people's personal and social development, young people are better able to live more active and fulfilling lives.
