To advance the education of women in all areas for the public benefit. There are groups for craft, walking, keep fit, table tennis, art and scrabble. There are monthly meetings with speakers. Various social/educational occasions are held. Women are encouraged to help in the running of their organisation thus gaining in confidence and organisational skills.
