Childcare Charities

The charity works for the public benefit having as its objects the care, development and education of children and young people in particular. We are a children's day nursery, providing high quality care and education for children aged from 6 weeks to 11 years old. We have nursery rooms for children aged from 6weeks to 4 years and a breakfast, afterschool & holiday club for primary school children

We provide breakfast and after school club and holiday playscheme for 130 registered families.Our wide range of activities are based on the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum and Every Child Matters objectives.We continue to support disabled children in playscheme despite cuts in this area. We have continued to provide a training budget and support staff in their development.

Childrens' Centre working with families in Bretch Hill & Warwick Road areas of Banbury. Offering support to children & families through outreach, learning opportunities, Early Years & After School groups.

Christian worship and pastoral care; drop-in centre for elderly; provision of hostel accommodation to those in need of low-cost housing; food distribution programme; Saturday Supplementary School; housing & benefits advice; Youth activities (Boys and Girls Brigade; Summer Holiday Club); project to support young mothers in the community part funded (70%) by the Methodist Church VentureFX fund.

Holding of Christian services focussed on various age groups and arranging other regular activities such as toddler group, sports and leisure time activities, music and drama activities. All of these activities support our objectives to further the christian faith and to support the development of young people.

We are a nursery that opens for 50 weeks of the year and takes children from 5 months to school age.

Food Bank - provides people with the essentials at a time when they need them most, covering the time it takes before other parts of our social care infrastructure can come into play. Parent and Toddler group - operates solely for the benefit of parents and families within the local community.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITES INCLUDING:FEEDING PROGRAMMES AND SOCIAL ACTION AMONGST HOMELESS AND MARGINALISED, WEEKLY GROUPS AIMED AT MEETING NEEDS OF THOSE AGED FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH TO SENIOR CITIZENS, CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY WORK, OVERSEAS AID.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

St Martin's Centre is located on the border of Byker and Walker in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne. We provide a range of activities for all ages, with activities and support for young children and families, an Ofsted-rated outstanding nursery, volunteering opportunities for local residents, daily activities for older adults and befriending and wellbeing support, including emergency food.

Provide child care nursery, after school club and holiday Clubs in 3 settings. We provide a range of services that address personal development.We work with Looked after Children mentoring them and giving training to move into their own home. Our Training Centre provides opportunities for our learners to gain accredited qualifications around essential skills resiliency and emotional wellbeing.

The Church meets at the Guildbourne Centre on Sunday mornings and in members' homes during the weekAlpha courses are held where interested people can discuss and learn about the Christian faithWe value highly our work with children & young people ranging from toddler groups through to teenagersThe church operates the "Worthing Food Bank".

Green Lane Nursery is set up as a purpose built centre within Green Lane School for all parents/carers in the surrounding area. It provides affordable, flexible childcare allowing parents/carers to be assured that their children are safe, secure and happy, enjoying the wide range of activities in a caring, learning environment.

We provide supported play for young people aged 5 to 16 years, in a friendly, secure and caring environment that is designed to stimulate their imagination and develope new skills. We aim to encourage physical, mental and social development by providing challenging activities and exciting play opportunities.

PROVIDES GOOD QUALITY, FLEXIBLE CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

Minsthorpe Charitable Trust is set up to help the advancement of lifelong learning for the students of Minsthorpe Community College and the community it serves.The Trust also owns and manages a 0-5 nursery and a 2-5 sessional daycare centre in the community

THE CHARITY OPEARATES A PRESCHOOL OFFERING 275 PLACES (10 SESSIONS AND 5 LUNCH CLUB SESSIONS PER WEEK) WITHIN A PURPOSE BUILT BUILDING. FUTHER SERVICES INCLUDE CARER AND TODDLER GROUPS, TEACHING ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES. PROVIDING TASTER LEARNING SESSIONS PROVIDED BY LOCAL EDUCATION PROVIDERS AND PROVISON OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL ORGANISATIONS

A key part of our mission is to serve our local community and demonstrate the love of Jesus. As well as services on Sundays, we hold a parent/carer toddler group, children's and youth groups, Alpha Courses and a lunch club for older people. We have a Christians Against Poverty office to help any facing debt issues. Our buildings are used by many groups providing services for our local community.

To provide Early Learning and Childcare for pre school children and provide out of school activities for not only pre school children but also children at mainstream school.

We offer breakfast and out of school care in 6 local schools in Gateshead as well as providing holiday care at rural Lamesley. Approximately 300 children per day use our provisions per day.

Mildmay Community Nursery Limited - Is a nursery for children under the age of 5 years. We are based in Islingon London, and can have 29 children at any one time. The nursery has an OUSTANDING rating in all areas from Ofsted

The provision of great childcare on a not for profit basis, which utilises the beautiful natural surroundings at Sunflowers at Grafton. This includes nursery care for babies and children to 5 years, from 8am to 6pm for 51 weeks; out of school care for primary school children, specifically breakfast, after school and holiday clubs; and daily school transport to one of our local primary schools.

To improve literacy skills, training, career guidance, advice in financial, welfare and legal matters, childcare assistance, youth work, after school study support for the Yemeni community and other BME communities in Sheffield.

Programmes to help young people to understand pathways and successfully access higher education, apprenticeships, or more skilled and better-paying jobs after school.

Shantona caters for women, young people and children based in Harehills and Chapeltown areas of Leeds to fulfil their full potential. The projects include Education & training, Family support & Health, Youth Provisions, Playscheme, Early Years, Mobile Creche and childcare facilities etc.
