The Grotton Residents Association run and manage the community centre known as The Pavilion in the village of Grotton. We hold annual events including a gala, Christmas fayre and bonfire but mainly the centre is used by local groups and organisation including - a pre-school group, a table tennis group, a knitting group, a wine circle as well as being available to hire for children's parties.

We raise funds for the village school by organising activities for the children (Christmas and Summer Fairs, discos, circus visits) and for the local community (Quiz Nights). We have contributed towards an outdoor adventure play area, classroom, stage and science garden, a stage and new dining chairs for the school hall, a suite of laptops, books, building work and smart televisions.

Maintain the Community Centre for the provision of accommodation for local groups, such as Playgroups, Brownies, Guides, Local residents groups.

TO ENSURE THE UP KEEP AND RUNNING OF THE AREA OF SHENSTONE KNOW AS THE PLAYING FIELDS. PROVIDE AND MONITOR CHILDRENS PLAY AREA.

Provision of a community hall, children's playground, wheelsports park and football field to the village of Mabe.

To maintain the school premises, including the school house and playground in good condition for educational purposes as a voluntary aided school for primary school age children from the surrounding parishes and townships, namely Addingham, Barden, Beamsley, Bolton Abbey, Draughton, Embsay with Eastby, Halton East, Hazelwood with Storiths and Nesfield with Langbar, but other areas are not ruled ou

The Village Hall provides a venue for the residents of the villages of Monxton and Amport, to meet and to hold parties, film shows, and suppers, as well as using the Hall for keep fit classes, dancing classes and childrens play groups.

We sell tickets and passes to local attractions, hold Summer and Christmas fetes, book fairs, children's discos, provide refreshments and hold Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day sales. All the money we raise goes towards paying for activities or buying equipment for the children at Blenheim Primary School and Nursery.

Children and young people out of school time learn basic skills in art and culture, sport and recreation, environment, conservation and heritage activities. We also welcome people with disabilities to participate.

The village is a thriving community (approx 500 dwellings and 1200 residents). Many residents support the hall and it is key to village life. The hall is used by 16 regular groups including, Indoor Bowls, Karate, Keep Fit, Scouts, History Society, Parent and Toddler group, Dancing etc plus numerous ad hoc functions. There is a successful amateur Dramatic group with an active youth section.

The Centre caters for such organisations as Scouts & Guides,Youth Clubs,Bowling,Playgroup,Garden Club, W.I., Golden Link,Gymnastics, Yoga, Badminton etc. as well as social events such as parties, concerts, Bingo etc.We try to provide facilities and opportunities for all age groups to enjoy.

Sudbrooke Village Hall is a modern hall in an attractive rural setting adjacent to a children's play area and sports field. It has a modern commercial kitchen. The hall is used daily by local groups from Preschool to seniors.Regular social events are offered. A well stocked licensed bar is included in booking the main hall on request. 18th birthday parties are not permitted.

To provide a village hall, childrens' playground and camping facilities for the people of Garrigill and other members of the public

The hall is used for a variety of village activities - for example, Toddler Group, W.I., Ladies Group, Dog Obedience Classes, Parish Council Meetings, Social Club and various village activities throughout the year, with numerous summer events which bring the whole village together. The hall has just been rebuilt and modernised to a very high standard.

Social Groups, Snooker Club, Table Tennis Drop-In, Yoga, Playgroup, Drama Group, Council Meetings, Gig Club, Keep Fit, Craft Groups, Art Groups, Workshops, Presentations, Committee Meetings, Weddings, Celebrations, Fundraisers, Environmental Awareness Events, Musical Evenings, Fetes, Farmers Market, NHS events.

Village hall a valid part of the community, used for various sports, keep fit, yoga, pilates. Local pre-school. Partys, weddings, karate, bridge club and regular meetings etc. we hold weekly coffee mornings with donation to named charities.

We rent our building to Charfield Out-of-School and Charfield Pre-School and have improved the building to make it more suitable for that use. We provide for the maintenance of the building and pay utility bills. We have leased land to Castle School Trust for use by Charfield Primary School. We make grants to support the wider educational needs of young persons up to the age of 20 living locally.

Day to day fundraising for the Buttsbury Infant School in Billericay.
