It helps families and individuals experiencing hardship who are struggling with gas and electricity debts by awarding grants to clear those debts. The Trust also funds organisations across England, Wales and Scotland to provide fuel debt and money advice services within communities.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND LOW CARBON TECHNOLOGIES (PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS) (INCLUDING, FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, PROVIDING BURSARIES TO THOSE WISHING TO PURSUE CAREERS IN THIS AREA

To contribute to the protection of the environment, the advancement of education and relief of poverty for the public benefit in developing countries, UK and elsewhere, by promoting the use of local sustainable and renewable energy sources.

Empower Community Foundation oversees, as trustee, local community funds that receive a share of surplus revenues from renewable energy projects invested by Empower Community through, initially Empower Community Solar LLP and Drove Lane Solar Park CIC and New Mains of Guynd Solar Park CIC.

Marches Energy Agency (MEA) specialises in the delivery of practical, effective and creative ways of promoting and enabling energy reduction and renewable energy solutions.

Renewable World tackles poverty through renewable energy. It works in East Africa and South Asia to promote affordable reliable energy services for poor consumers to improve income generation, enterprise development, health & education. Our unique relationship with the Renewable Energy industry allows us to leverage skills, expertise and resources to support and develop our work.

Through our research, direct action and promotion of sustainable energy use and renewable power generation, we are working to lessen the impacts of climate change, relieve poverty and improve health outcomes. In better understanding existing energy use, our activities benefit the communities we work with, as they learn to conserve and reduce demand and prepare for future energy challenges

Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity supports families and individuals on low income with a grant to help with the costs of gas and electricity; and supports organisations to provide services and activities for those in need through grantmaking.

Collaborate with development agencies to build capacity of parliaments in developing countries to make policy on climate and clean energy. Build up a network of interested MPs in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Pragya enables sustainable development for the poorest, most neglected communities in remote and marginal societies, in a way that preserves and promotes local cultures and fragile ecosystems. Our grassroots programmes include: food, agriculture and rural livelihoods; conservation and renewable energy; education; empowering women and minorities; health, safe water and sanitation; and disasters.

Mlinda Foundation's focus is to facilitate development of rural electrification projects using renewable energy in India. Communities in project areas had no access to reliable electricity and opportunities to earn income were limited. Initial results from project areas show household income has increased by over 60% through the use of electric-powered equipment in households and for agriculture.

Our objective is to improve the facilities at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach , Swansea SA6 5NS. We will do this with donations received from local individuals , local businesses and running local events. We will also be applying for grants from various sources such as the Community Lottery Fund, Mynydd Y Gwair Wind Farm, Garfield Weston Foundation, Landfill Tax , Co Op Group, Tesco and others.

Energy Sparks offers an online energy analysis tool and energy education programme specifically designed to help schools reduce their electricity and gas usage through the analysis of half hourly smart meter data. Energy Sparks provides advice and activities to support pupils and the wider school community to reduce their school's carbon footprint.

To advance the science of geology and its allied sciences in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing, as they relate to petroleum, natural gas, other subsurface fluids and mineral resources. The outreach is made through short courses, educational offerings, technology workshops, student grants and programs, etc.

We provide food, toiletries, nappies etc to the needy in the borough of Wokingham from the Foodbank premises in the centre of the town. We can also help with gas/ electricity if needed.

The restoration of Heron Cornmill to its original form as a working water powered mill and preservation and display of the mill and equipment for educational benefit of students and the public and promoting renewable energy.Arrange lectures shows for the benefit of the public and to print publish and make available by sale or otherwise of literature reproductions photographs and the like.

We are dedicated to ensuring community energy becomes a significant part of sustainable energy in the UK through accessible expertise & affordable finance to community energy groups. Our member network provides free expert professional advice to help carbon reduction projects overcome barriers to success. Our Community Energy Fund offers low interest loans for community renewable energy projects.

EVC Uganda is working in the district of Masaka, Uganda providing education, through a sponsorship scheme, for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to go to school. The charity also raises funds for the building of school classrooms and dormitories, the provision of clean water supplies on school sites and LED lighting for families without electricity.

Bryn Blaen Community Wind Fund CIO receives funding from the wind farm developer which we are able to grant to projects and organisations within the area defined in its constitution.

The charity provides food and household items to needy individuals and families in the Guildford area. In some cases it helps with household gas and electricity payments.

The Easter Team helps families and individuals in crisis in the Crawley area by providing and distributing food parcels and topping up gas and electricity pre-payment meters.

Raise money to maintain the Hall through different activities. Regular users are Bowls, Community Council, Line Dancing, Circuits, Social Hub, Quiz nights and Singalongs. Facilities have been improved through funding from Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm Community Fund. The primary school regularly uses the facilities. We hold fundraising events such as fairs and Tribute Evenings.

Providing grants to individuals, clubs, schools and groups, for projects that generate renewable energy, or save energy, or address fuel poverty. Provide advice and information on energy saving measures.

The trustees shall hold the capital and income of the charity upon trust to apply the same in the area of benefit for the benefit of such one or more charitable institutions or such charitable purposes as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit
