We run a Pre-School 3 days a week, term time, plus a Baby & Toddler group once a week at the Village Hall. The group provides educational and social activities for young children plus an opportunity for local families to meet and socialise in our rural area. We are inspected by Ofsted and supported by the West Berkshire Early Years team. We are a member of the Early Years Alliance.

Provision of Community Activities to the residents of the Weston Mill area of Plymouth

Provide informaiton, advice, counselling, referral, interpretation, translation and accompanying services on housing, welfare, health, immigration & asylum, education, training, employment to men, women, older people, young people, children, abled and disabled of all ethnic backgrounds.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF MIDDLE AGED AND OLDER PEOPLE NOT IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT IN WELLS, SOMERSET AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.

The general relief of distress, hardship and/or need to beneficiaries resident within the boundary of the former Urban District of Chertsey.

Providing pre school education for children aged 2-5 in a rural village.

The objectives of Poole University of the Third Age (U3A) is the advancement of education, leisure time, and recreational activities of middle aged and older persons no longer in gainful employment, residing in Poole and the surrounding area. These objectives are achieved by the organising and running of educational and leisure courses, using rented venues and member's homes.

Provision of training/education by way of making grants to individuals and/or organisations.

We are rural community playgroup who are passionate about child development. We work closely with our family's and celebrate diversity within staff and the family that attend. We supply learning through play activity's that are tailored to the individual child. We accept children from 2 years old and can cater for all needs, and accept all government funding.

BASED-UK exists to foster and support social and economic development learning and action as part of the Baha'i International Community's commitment to building a more unified, equitable and ever-advancing global civilisation. BASED-UK partners with local organisations overseas to assist them in enlarging the scope of their activities by channelling financial resources to them.

The Bury St Edmunds U3A is a self-help group of people who are no longer in full-time paid employment. Our activities include:A monthly lecture, open to all membersSpecific-interest groups who meet at times of their own choosing.An annual Study Day on a nationally important topic, open to our members and other local U3As.We welcome (but do not insist on!) contributions from all.

To support our rural clubs to advance the education of young people between 10 and 30 to improve their social, physical, and intellectual skills

Advancement of education by means of collaboration with the National Proficiency Tests Council in the administration and provision of Proficiency Tests in practical land based activities.

Working with people on the margins of rural society in India- low caste and tribal people, especially disadvantaged women- to help them build and sustain their individual, family and community livelihoods.

Operates Frimley Community Centre and supports community activities.

Grant giving to charities which assist the poorest sections of the population or are involved in community development work.

General charitable purposes including education/training accommodation, employment, health, community development, tackle poverty and similar services to all ages and gender.

Holding of an annual agricultural show

Tunbridge Wells U3A is a recreational and educational organisation set up with the aim of benefiting those in the community who are retired or no longer in full-time gainful employment. It provides a meeting each month with an invited speaker, a variety of social gatherings and has over sixty study groups with subjects from art appreciation to 10 mile walks. Around 150 attend the monthly meetings.

Promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Promotion of religious and secular education, relieve the poor, promote community activities.

The charity aims to link practical cattle breeding with science, to improve the quality and productivity of cattle breeding to benefit UK dairy and beef production by means of a conference, farm walks and publications. Publications are circulated to members, sections of the agricultural industry and the libraries of the Universities and Agricultural Colleges as well as published on the web.

Economic & community development together with the relief of poverty locally, nationally and internationally by the making of grants to individuals and organisations.

The charity makes grants to advance, either generally or individually, the education (including social and physical training) of persons under the age of 25 who are resident, or who have a parent or parents resident, in the area of the former Urban District of Mirfield. The trustees meet in February, May and October each year to consider written applications received by the clerk.
