Encouragement of the breeding of Oxford Down sheep; maintenance of the purity of the breed; registration of the pedigrees of Oxford Down sheep in the Flock Book which is published annually; organisation of shows and sales of Oxford Down sheep across the UK; promotion of the Oxford Down breed at agricultural events; provision of a website to make information about the breed widely available.

Edmundbyers Village Hall provides a venue for social and educational interaction amongst the village community and the wider community as a whole. It is an essential part of the character of the rural community in which we live

We provide simple, self-catering accommodation and facilities in a quiet rural area, north of the Malvern Hills for low-income groups. Suitable for small group retreats, workshops, educational and arts activities.

We are Chichester's only civic society. We have a unique role in the city: we are devoted to preserving, protecting and improving its features of historic or public interest, and the environment in the City and District. Our interests include not only building developments but other impacts on us: like traffic growth, licensing laws, waste and noise.

Makes grants exclusively to UK registered charities concerned with UK citizens or with international development.

1. To promote public interest in Civic Design in Torbay.2. To stimulate public consciousness and appreciation of the beauty, history and character of Torbay and its surroundings.3. To encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features which enhance the attractiveness of the three towns of Torbay.

Scouting activities for young people; charitable and community activities

Covering the Stokenham Parish area.Community activities include Summer Fair, coffee mornings, table top sales for fundraising, children's parties.Also regular classes including Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Bridge, Art, Table tennis, pre-school group, Rainbows.

Operates and runs the Village Hall to provide a venue for local community activities. Fund raising to maintain and improve the building.

The charity provides: buildings, open spaces & facilities to the general public including adults, children, elderly & disabled people without prejudice of sex, religion or other discriminations for the furtherment of education, sports & recreation, art, community development and the training and showing of animals.

Maintenance of the fabric of the village hall and its facilities, together with the organisation of, and support for, community activities

Teaches young members about the countryside, enviroment and agriculture, through talks visits and competitions. Meetings take place once a week. Club does much for the local community and fundraises for itself as well as many other charities.

Regular renting of the hall for community activities such as Playgroup, Bridge Club, Dancing and other social events for residents of the Parish.

Annual agricultural show in rural Northumberland. The Upper Redesdale Show has baking and craft classes, sheep dog trials, sheep judging and general entertainment with children's sports and live entertainment.

Youth Movement including public speaking, drama, dance, craft, farm safety and stock judging competitions.

The Clifford Howarth Charity Trust being a very small charity is only able to consider a small number of projects. Projects supported are community development primarily local based.
