Our aims are to work for the preservation of the best of the remaining features of the historic past of Leicester, while encouraging and influencing new developments to achieve the highest standards of sustainability and architectural. Leicester Civic Society regularly monitors planning developments through the Leicester City Council online database of planning applications and related documents.

It gives grants to new groups in the Washington & Springwell areas of Sunderland to help them start their operations.It also provides grants to existing groups for new projects.

The charity holds an annual agricultural show.

Shared learning activities and interests for persons of above retirement age and no longer in gainful employment.

Bourne Heritage Centre open to public 2-4pm Sat/Sun plus holidays - all volunteers. Bourne Civic Society - cooperate and assist local and district councils in matters of common concern.

We have equipment that is lent to 'Friends of' groups, to maintain and enhance public open spaces. We coordinate a forum for greenspace groups in Lancaster District. We are responsible for community orchard on NHS-owned land next to De Vitre House, Lancaster. We comment on local development plans and planning applications. We help fund raise for Friends of Freeman's Wood and Greaves Park

To protect rural areas of West Yorkshire from inappropriate development.

Being affiliated to the Civic Trust, we promote good design and development of the built and other environment in the historic town of Shoreham-by-Sea. We hold monthly meetings with speakers for all members, fund raising events, and regular discussions with Adur Council on planning and development matters.

We are a locally based Association interested in the craft of bee-keeping. We train new & improving beekeepers in the wellbeing of bees & the production of quality hive products & promote the importance of bees & the conservation of bee-forage plants to the public. We meet regularly, attend country shows, collect swarms when necessary and aid pollination in our farming community.

The Hall provides a venue for a wide range of interest groups and community activities. The Hall relies entirely on local volunteers to manage the hall.

Penygraig Community Project develops facilities to support children, young people and families living in Penygraig and neighbourhood creating opportunities for play, youth and community activities.

Provides advice, training and other assistance to farmers and their immediate trainers and advisers in developing countries, also runs courses on college administration in Devon and overseas for foreign nationals of developing countries.

We are a black and minority ethnic led charity. We support children, young people and families in the UK and Ghana with educational programs, materials and equipment. We also provide training towards attainment of children at school, skills development and employment.
