We are committed to supporting the local community, as well as refugees, migrants, and individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, by providing access to education, guidance, and employment opportunities.

We run a specialist college for young people with learning disabilities, which prepares students for independent living and employment. We also deliver services to support families with multiple needs and a creative therapies project. In Kentish Town we run a volunteer programme, to give local people an active role in tackling issues around health and inequality.

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

A RANGE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS, HALL HIRE, AND TRAINING COURSES RUN DAILY. THE PROBATION HUB OPERATES FROM THE CENTRE TWO DAYS A WEEK. OUR COMMUNITY KITCHEN IS USED TO COOK DONATED FOOD FOR LOCAL PEOPLE WITH FOODBANK VOUCHERS

Ackee provides medium to long term supportive shared and self contained accommodation to 21 single black women between the ages of 17 and 21, leaving care or otherwise vulnerable. Ackee supports the women to gain necessary skills for independent living, and offers counseling and advice on other aspects of life skills training, e.g. education, employment, budgeting etc.

To provide training and work experience to adults with Learning Disabilities within a fully functional Hotel and Plant Centre

We provide a Training Service for blind and sight impaired teenagers to support them towards employment. We offer a comprehensive Employment Service helping school leavers, undergraduates and graduates into employment throughout the United Kingdom. We also support families, employers and professionals in all aspects of education. All with the theme of raising confidence and aspirations.

Gypsies and Travellers Wales provides an extensive information, advice and liaison service to Gypsies and Travellers, the Local Authority and all relevant agencies and professionals. The Organisation also runs specific issue based projects: an IT-based Driving Theory course, provides IT & Literacy skills sessions, Employment skills workshops and weekly Youth activities sessions.

We promote the empowerment of women through friendship, opportunity, practical and emotional support and advice. At HWC, we provide services related to domestic abuse, general wellbeing, unemployment, isolation, as well as legal and benefits advice.

The objective of the Charity is to provide assistance to the needy in High Wycombe and the surrounding area. We achieve this objective by providing low cost furniture and white goods to those on a limited income, granting furniture and white goods to those in crisis and providing work experience and skills to those facing disadvantage. Furniture Re-use Project originally set up to relieve hardship by providing low cost furniture and appliances to those in need. Provision of work experience and training for individuals seeking employment. Increasingly important is our environmental role in diverting items from landfill.

PAC provides therapeutic interventions for young people aged 6 to 25 presenting with emotional, interpersonal and mental health problems and challenges often with associated learning disability. By delivering this preventative work young people address their problems before they escalate, they re-engage into education or employment and live more positive lives within society.

Run time-bound projects including energy and environmental projects We run several small social enterprises providing employment for local people such as match day car parking, community cafe.
