Whitelands College provides, conducts and develops higher and further education for men and women for a range of degree courses validated by Roehampton University, including the training of teachers.

The Institute's core activities are:Curriculum DevelopmentSalters' Festivals of Chemistry - Day events held at universities throughout UK and Ireland for 11-13 year olds. Prizes for excellence in science educationSalters' Chemistry Camps - these were run annually for 15 year olds throughout UK. The Camps ceased in July 2015.

The Objects of the Charity are to advance education in relation to international security andintelligence issues through research, provision of educational programmes and collaborations in intelligence studies, teaching and research with national and international universities, the government of the UK and other nations.

The main work of the Longford Trust is its scholarships programme offering financial, mentoring and employability support to young serving and ex-prisoners to continue their rehabilitation by studying for degrees at UK universities. It also arranges an annual Longford Lecture on prison reform and awards an annual Longford Prize for outstanding achievement in the field of prison reform.

Advancement of amateur sport of representative rowing at Cambridge University and advancement of sports education for representative rowing at Cambridge University for the public benefit

Promoting the interests and welfare of Students at London Met Uni (LMU) during their course of study and representing, supporting and advising Students; Being the recognised representative channel between Students and LMU and any other external bodies; and Providing social, cultural, and recreational activities and forums for discussions for the personal development of its Students.
