Coleridge Families aim is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing, and assisting in providing, facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the local education authority). To further this object, we organise activities (including fundraising) which support the school, encourage cooperation between the staff, parents & others associated with the school.

We provide pastoral support to families of children with Down syndrome. We run a weekly group session which provides education, fun and play for babies and children with Down syndrome. School-age children attend fortnightly with their teaching assistants. We provide training for parents, teachers and other professionals.
