Raising funds to support school activities

The PTA fundraise to provide the teachers and children at the school with additional facilities which cannot be provided for by the LEA. Events involve the children, teachers and parents as well as the wider community such as school fetes, social evenings, jumble and cake sales. Fundraising enables the PTA to purchase items at the request of the Headteacher.

To raise funds to provide for the advancement of education in Latchmere School by contributing to the educational facilities and extending relationships between staff and parents.

Providing facilities for the Crabtree Juniors and Infants Schools: funding IT equipment for both schools, provision of an extra curricular music teacher for the Junior school and other sundry funding as requested for the educational benefit of the children.

The PTA provides substantial support to George Abbot school and its students by funding major school projects, including recently, the building of an astro pitch. Main annual fundraisers include: - Clandon Park Run - Christmas and Craft Fair - Quiz

The Friends is SMSP's Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We raise funds to enhance and enrich the learning of all our children and support a vibrant community of parents and carers around the school. We hope to ensure all children at school get the most stimulating and rewarding learning possible, and organise events like our Christmas Bazaar, Quiz Night, School Disco and Summer Fair.

The 1853 Society is the Parents' Association of Royal Russell School with the objective to developeffective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and the widercommunity. It engages in or funds activities or provides facilities or equipment which supports the school and charitable endeavours of the school and advances the education of the pupils.

The PTA carries out a number of fund raising events centring around Xmas and Summer fares. We more regularly have homebake events and other adhoc events to assist individual class school trips. Every two years we have a large auction.

The object of the association is to raise funds in order to improve the facilities and enhance the school environment for the benefit of all children at Aberdour whilst also fostering a sense of Community amongst the pupils, parents and all staff by way of social events.

The charity runs various fund raising and non-profit events in the school community to support its object. Funds are applied in the provision of facilities to the school.
