The Society organises presentations and demonstrations by leading figures and performers in the fields of opera and ballet.The Society offers Bursaries to students whose talents would be nurtured by attending full and part time courses relevant to professional careers in the arts of ballet and opera.

The charity makes grants to pupils and former pupils of Whitcliffe Mount School. Grants may be made to past pupils towards study at an institution of further education. The charity also provides money for the headteacher for the furthering of activities connected with the school.

Bursary applications are invited from individuals between the ages of 16-25 who either live/have lived or attend/have attended a school within a 3-mile radius of Gt.St.Mary's Church, Sawbridgeworth

We act as a support group to Sheffield Music Hub, providing practical and financial assistance aimed at increasing and improving opportunities for young people in and around Sheffield to learn music and participate in ensembles.
