Education Charities That specialise in Student support

The charity receives funds from member's subscriptions and donations from individuals and organisations. The beneficiaries are children or young persons from poor communities in India irrespective of their caste, religion or other distinction, for their education in India. Trustees give priority to those who have no chance to attend school due to severe poverty and award scholarships and grants.

The Neonatal Society was founded in 1959 to bring together scientists and clinicians with an interest in the fetus and newborn. The object of the Society is the promotion of Neonatal Science. McCance travel bursaries are available to support researchers who would otherwise be unable to attend the Society's meetings in the UK. The Society hosts four annual commemorative lectures.

THE CHARITY MAKES FINANCIAL AWARDS FOR ANY EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. FOR EXAMPLE, SMALL GRANTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS OR EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR A COURSE OF EDUCATION OR TRAINING OR HELP WITH TRAVEL COSTS.

TSCSF pilots programmes focusing on leadership education initiatives which deliver support to the emerging generation of future leaders. These pilots of potential programmes have led to the successful identification of a number of partners to further the charitable objects of TSCSF.

To help and provide for children and women of India and those in United Kingdom, preferably disadvantaged and disabled. The Society promotes the study of labour history by: production of a journal, Labour History Review; holding and sponsoring conferences; bursaries for postgraduate speakers at such conferences; bursaries for (doctoral-level) research and BA/MA dissertations in labour history; grants for conferences and public events in labour history, especially if targeted at a wider audience.

We award scholarships and prizes to students in universities and schools, many of which have connections with W E Gladstone. We also grant travel awards for Oxford and Cambridge University undergraduates.

To advance the education of pupils of music in the United Kingdom and Italy in such manner in all respects as the Trustees shall think fit so long as the same shall be charitable and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing and insofar as the same shall be charitable) through the award of bursaries, scholarships, exhibitions, prizes and grants

The aim of Al Ukhuwwat Trust is the relief of the financial need amongst the poor student community, primarily within the United Kingdom and abroad & to provide education for the poor students to improve the conditions of their lives by giving them scholarship and timely medical treatment.

(i) Award scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries, maintenance allowances or grants to students (or former students under the age of 25 years) completing their highest education at university or other educational institution approved by the trustees.(ii) Provide additional financial resources to enable students to broaden their education by joining organised school visits outside the UK.

Provision of Scholarships and Bursaries for pupils at Dover College. In particular, through the Bostock Wheeler Scholarships, funding the education of a boy or girl whose mother or father or adoptive mother or father or any two them are deceased.

To provide financial support and scholarships, assist in providing teaching and learning resources and safe teaching and learning environment to improve quality of education. To undertake projects to safeguard against a relapse of degradation and degeneration in the College and refurbish key pre-existing infrastructures including college buildings such as the library and sanitation facilities.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust , the available income is paid to establish and maintain scholarships at a British University.The Trustees are satisfied that these purposes remain charitable and for the public benefit. The Trustees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.

The object of the trust is to apply the income and all or part of the capital at such time and in such manner for the advancement of education for the persons living in the UK in the culture of Spain and to promote the exchange of knowledge about the cultures of the UK and Spain by the grant of scholarships.

Promoting study and research in the Discipline of Economics and awarding prizes and scholarships in Economics from time to time.

Bursary funding for young people in education.

The main activity is the work of the IFA Board which agrees the strategy to achieve the maximum benefit to our members and the public. Meetings also attended with other Air Safety organisations which include; EASA, RAeS & ICAO airworthiness panel. In addition to the above IFA sponsors the attendance of it's members staff on Airworthiness courses and Scholarships.

The Trust usually supports 3 pupils at schools in the UK. Candidates should have a proven track record, e.g. good GCSEs or equivalent, and are normally assisted with a proportion of school fees for 2 years, leading to A Levels or equivalent university entrance qualifications. Applications are only accepted from schools which have awarded a bursary of at least 25% of the fees.

A member club of Rotary International with 31,000 clubs in more than 200 countries. A service organisation which supports community projects at home and abroad. Rotary Foundation funds more than 1,000 scholarships annually to enable students to study overseas and act as cultural ambassadors for their home country. Rotary clubs have to date contributed US$600 million to polio elimination worlwide.

We do support vulnerable people by giving food, cloth, pay medical dues, provide scholarship, etc.

To provide one or more bursaries or scholarships either to enable young students, of either sex, who propose to enter or who have already entered the distilling trade to acquire knowledge of wine trade or to enable young students to acquire knowledge of the distilling trade; and to make donations to the Wine Spirits Trades Benevolent Society and other registered charities.
