The Dacorum Community Trust is a charity dedicated to helping those most in need within the Dacorum area, by managing and distributing funds it raises locally from individuals, companies and organisations.We assist local families who are disadvantaged through illness, loss of employment, and other circumstances.We are able to respond quickly and effectively.

We provide subsidised veterinary treatment for animals owned by local people on low income. We take in and rehome unwanted, abandoned and stray animals.We respond to enquires from the public on a whole range of animal welfare issues. We also provide volunteering opportunities for those who wish to support our work, including trusteeship, fundraising and providing work experience placements.

The Rainbow Centre is a community centre for the Over 50s. We have about 20 different activities taking place throughout the week, which include Tai Chi, Art classes, sequence dancing, computer classes, short mat bowling etc. We operate a luncheon club and provide meals for luncheon clubs both at the Centre and in the community.

HYT enables young volunteers to work alongside Ugandans in meeting basic humanitarian needs, such as housing, water and education. HYT promotes sustainable development, particularly the use of appropriate technology for low carbon construction, which preserves the environment. The Christian Africa Relief Trust is a charity which provides goods to the people of Africa, free of charge, in order to make a positive difference to their lives. The goods are distributed regardless of caste or creed. We also sponsor and encourage self-help and developmental projects in education, medicine, agriculture and vocational training.

Our community playgroup promotes a wide range of positive images through the choice of various activities such as writing,numeracy,imagination,outdoor play,physical exercise,music, ICT and other activities to motivate preschool children.

The support and provision for work experience and in house training for adults and young people with disabilities and /or learning difficulties within a community recycling centre. The beneficiaries are placed at CROW by Social Services and other statutory and voluntary agencies in the Coventry/Warwickshire area.
