The objective of Lymington U3A is the provision of education and stimulating activities amongst older and retired people by varying means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development. We operate some 50 study and interest groups led by volunteer members, hold monthly speaker meetings and discussions, and organise trips to places of interest.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

To advance the eduction and the provision of opportunities for leisre time and recreational activities with the object of improving the quality of life of people no longer in full time gainful employment.

Aylesbury Vale U3A is a body of people who undertake to learn and to help others to learn. It's objectives are the advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Aylesbury Vale and its surrounding locality

U3A offers a programme of educational and leisure activities for retired people where members contribute their own experience, interests and enthusiasms actively, so that they learn from each other.

Membership approximately 340 with 42 varied activity groups. Monthly meetings with guest speakers. Monthly committee meetings. Newslink magazine. Visits to places of interest, entertainment. Membership of Derbyshire Network - a group of neighbouring U3A organisations.

Life Long Learning for those no longer in full time employment

Providing a variety of appropriate mental and physical activities on a self-help basis for middle-aged and other people who are not in full-time gainful employment in Yeovil and its surrounding locality.

U3A Dacorum is a learning co-operative of older people, which enables members to share in educational, creative and leisure activities covering Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding areas.

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in Towcester and its surrounding locality.

Engaging retired/older people in a variety of group activities to keep mentally and, where appropriate, physically fit. To introduce new topics for education and enlightenment.

General meetings and activitity groups with an educational and/or social content

Monthly meetings with a guest speaker and over 40 interest groups covering a wide range of interests

To advance the education of middle-aged and older people who are not in full time gainful employment. The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

Stourbridge U3A hold monthly meetings which offer talks of general interest and opportunities for conversation and for the public to meet us. We have over forty interest groups offering a range of subjects: languages, literature, history, local study, genealogy, music, art, crafts, bridge, quizzes, walking and food. We also organise outings to sites of educational interest.

We offer educational services to our members by providing accommodation and support to groups of members wishing to pursue topics of interest. Members are retired/ semi retired people in Leigh and surrounding area. The groups are organised by the members themselves.We also have bi-monthly general meetings with speakers on a variety of educational subjects and access to current information.

Self education for retired persons in 27 subjects i.e. languages, history, gardening, wildlife, etc

(ii) To advance education, particularly of people not in full time gainful employment and in their Third Age (i.e.the period after the first age of childhood dependence and second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Stanway and locality.(ii) provision of facilities for leisure time activities for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

It is a self help group for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities. It draws upon knowledge, experience and skills of our own members to organise and provide interest groups in accordance with wishes of the membership

To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of middle aged and older people who are not in full-time gainful employment and who reside in the area administered by Horsham D.C. The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

These objectives are achieved by self-managed Study Groups of members of Croxley Green U3A and the monthly meetings, open to all members, which usually include a presentation by a visiting speaker. These activities are supported by a quarterly newsletter
