Education Charities

To establish, maintain and conduct a school for the education of boys and girls so as to be an independent school within the meaning of the expression as defined in the Education Act 1944.

To relieve financial hardships among poor people and other people in need by means of, making grants for providing or paying for items, equipment, services or facilities, including provision of food, accommodation and livelihood programmes for the benefit of the said persons.To advance education for the benefit of the general public by means of, educational activities, equipment and scholarships.

Regular public worship. Teaching of Christianity. Pastoral work. Taking of assemblies, periodically, in schools. The provision of youth activities with a Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through events and literature. Promoting the church's mission, including supporting mission partners and provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers..

To promote high standards in the education and professional development of teachers and other professional edsucators and to encourage educational enquiry and research, with particular reference to topics which are the special concern of those engaged in higher education based teacher education, and to disseminate the results of such enquires and research.

AT The Bus offers a school-based programme of art as therapy to support the education, health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 5-16 in Oxfordshire and London. Group sessions take place during the school day in a purposely designed therapeutic studio space in a double decker bus located on school grounds or in specially designed studio spaces.

Promotion of Christianity through events, meetings and literature. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and others. Supporting other charities in the U.K. and overseas.

Manchester Central Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust Network, provides an emergency service to those in need in Central Manchester. We give out emergency food parcels (3 days nutritionally balanced food) and signposting services to those referred to us by front line agencies (social workers, GPs, chaplains, schools, etc.) as well as support in other forms to relieve the impact of poverty.

We have been providing the following services to Muslims and their neighbours in the Runnymede area.Imams to lead Jumuah and ?Eid prayers.Hot meals for iftar during Ramadan, for students and families.Speakers on Islam to schools, workplaces and university.Mosque tours for all age groups & special interest needsOpen Days to the general public.We aim to build a Masjid/Community Centre.

Christian worship and pastoral care; drop-in centre for elderly; provision of hostel accommodation to those in need of low-cost housing; food distribution programme; Saturday Supplementary School; housing & benefits advice; Youth activities (Boys and Girls Brigade; Summer Holiday Club); project to support young mothers in the community part funded (70%) by the Methodist Church VentureFX fund.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF STUDENTS AT LEEDS TRINITY UNIVERSITY FORTHE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: PROMOTING THE INTERESTS AND WELFARE OF STUDENTS AT LEEDS TRINITY UNIVERSITY DURING THEIR COURSE OF STUDY AND REPRESENTING, SUPPORTING ANDADVISING STUDENTS;BEING THE RECOGNISED REPRESENTATIVE CHANNEL BETWEEN STUDENTS ANDLEEDS TRINITY UNIVERSITY AND ANY OTHER EXTERNAL BODIES;

We are a nursery that opens for 50 weeks of the year and takes children from 5 months to school age.

The Foundation objectives are to: Address social exclusion, Improve health and wellbeing, Promote education and literacy, Support vulnerable children and young people and Support vulnerable people and families. The Objects of the CIO are to help young people through School and leisure based activities to develop their capabilities so that they may grow to become mature, responsible individuals and members of society who recognise the importance of physical activity

MAMA Youth Project aims to equip disadvantaged and marginalised young people between the age of 18-30 with the skills & experience that will help them secure long-term and fulfilling employment.We provide training that helps them secure employment,with a particular focus on those wanting to pursue a career in TV or media-an industry particularly closed to those from BAME& disadvantaged backgrounds

We support disabled and disadvantaged youngsters to live a happy and easier life. We provide specialist equipment, wonderful experiences and short breaks for families often in desperate need. Our Cafe Beam is a community coffee shop run entirely by young people with special needs providing hands on work experience, new skills and confidence to enter the world of paid employment.

SHADE IS A COMMUNITY ORGANISATION OPERATING IN THE EAST OF LONDON.IT OFFERS A RANGE OF PROJECTS AND SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.THESE PROJECTS CAN BE GROUPED INTO THE FOLLOWING THEMES: HEALTH AND SPORTS, SOCIAL CARE AND SUPPORT, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT, HUMANITARIAN AID AND RELIEF, SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENT.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The CIO exists to perpetuate the memory of Dr Pusey by;* the maintenance of the institution known as Pusey House as a house of sacred learning;*the affording of religious help and counsel to members of the University of Oxford; and*the promotion of theological study and holiness of life.This is principally achieved by means of the stipends allocated to the members of the Chapter.

Transformational Education including : Higher Education, Teacher Education, School Services, Language Services and Informal Education.

Maintain Watchtree Nature Reserve for visitors, school parties and groups. Develop the Wheelers facility providing cycles for use by disabled groups and individuals.

Magic Bus takes children living in poverty in India on the journey from eduction to livelihood. During this long term engagement, our mentors work with children using activities as metaphors to change behaviour in the areas of education and livelihood. Magic Bus works with 360,000 children and 5,500 youth mentors in 23 states in India.

The Poetry School helps poets of all levels write their best poetry by creating and delivering a dynamic, responsive and high quality programme of education that takes place throughout England and online. The Poetry School aims to create an inclusive and supportive critical community of writers and readers and is dedicated to nurturing original new voices in contemporary poetry.

Our mission is to support migrants and disadvantaged Britons to access employment justice, and improve their social mobility. To achieve this we: (1) provide free and confidential legal advice; (2) provide training, tools, and public-facing resources that empower communities; and (3) publish robust research and policy recommendations, that challenge the root causes of injustice in the long-term.
