Education Charities

The principal activity of the charity is the maintenance of a Catholic school offering a broad and balanced curriculum for pupils from nursery to eleven years old, conducted in accordance with the principles of the Catholic Church both generally and in particular in relation to arranging for religious education and daily acts of worship, and supporting the development of the whole person.

Our activities are centred around adults with learning disabilities we supply support and training focusing on independence skills, social skills, independent living and employment tools.

The maintenance and development of the school buildings to enhance the educational environment and experience of pupils at the school, a Voluntary Aided 1010 pupil comprehensive school with a co-educational sixth form.

The objects of the charity are to take care of the social, cultural and religious needs of the Danish community in London. The charity achieves these objectives by maintaining and supporting the buildings and fabric of the Danish Church in London and by providing events and bursaries to the Danish community in London

We work with disadvantaged young people aged 8-21 in Islington, London, & neighbouring boroughs, areas of social deprivation, high youth crime, & low attendance in school & jobs. Young people suffer low self esteem & lack longterm, stable, one-to-one relationships. We have 3 workstreams: Street Team outreach work; Youth Hubs providing personal development & positive activities; & One2One support.

Our Mission is to improve the life chances of everyone we serve and to build resilience through our programmes and engagements. We do this through health based initiatives including a foodbank, one to one support work, counselling & focused work for women, men and older people. We provide various support services for older people, those not in work and those with barriers to employment.

Regular open public worship. Providing space, including a cafe, for community use compatible with the Christian faith. Promoting the whole mission of the Church including teaching, pastoral work and activities with a Christian ethos for older people, young people and other groups. Christian events such as, meetings, literature and work in schools. Supporting Christian work in the UK and overseas.

Blue Smile provides counselling and therapy for pupils in Cambridgeshire schools between the ages of 3 and 13 during a critical window of opportunity for change. The service is designed to complement each school's pastoral provision and to deliver the kind of specialist early intervention which prevents longer-term emotional and behavioural problems

Education/TrainingReligious activities

We provide one to one advice and counseling, organise workshops, seminars and conferences. We network with other women's organisation, advice the Government and other statutory bodies about issues relating to domestic and honour based violence. We provide training in ESOL, IT, confidence building and run a volunteering training programme and organise social activities for women and children.

The Fawcett Society is the leading UK charity campaigning for gender equality and women's rights.We publish compelling research to educate, inform and lead the debate; we bring together politicians, academics, grassroots activists and wider civil society to develop innovative, practical solutions; we work with employers & in schools and we campaign with women and men to make change happen.

To supply a wide range of services to the local community from the resources of the Wickbourne Centre, Littlehampton. Services include a Nursery, a Pre-School in Rustington, with provision for a cafe and activities for children and young people in partnership with other agencies such as West Sussex County Council and Arun Community Church.

To promote community participation by the provision of a tennis academy and other sports facilities for healthy recreation or other leisure time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Medway and the surrounding area (including open membership to individuals, community groups and schools) in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life.

Rainbow House is an independent, not-for-profit provider of a range of services for children aged 0-10 and their families. It is an Ofsted-registered childcare setting with charity status. Our services include preschool sessions, seminars, workshops, after-school clubs, mother and toddler sessions, creche and outings. We operate from two purpose-built settings in East London.

The principal activity of the Trust is religious education

To assist people with special needs and learning difficulties to make the transition between unemployment and mainstream employment, by offering selected training courses in which they may gain the skills and qualifications for a trade.

Greenwich Music School is a centre of excellence in music education, delivering lessons to children and adults through a range of instrument and voice lessons, group courses and ensembles, an early years department, professional training and special projects. GMS delivers training for music teachers, and advocates for the value of learning music.

The charity provide a community nursery, including Nursery Education Funded places for 2 year old and 3.- 4 year old children. They also provide out of school childcare both during school term and holiday times.The charity provides services to elderly people, in the form of meals and activities which support social inclusion, health and well being.

CCAM is a local charity which demonstrates God's love by meeting people's practical needs and restoring self-worth. This is achieved by: the redistribution of furniture, bedding and household goods to those in need; providing support and a listening ear to those needing to be heard and by providing work placements for those seeking a way back into the community and the workplace.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT, THROUGH ECUMENICAL CHRISTIAN MINISTRY, PROMOTION OF TEACHING ON ALL ASPECTS OF CHRISTIAN LIFE & FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES. IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION BY FACILITATING PRAYER MEETINGS, CORPORATE WORSHIP, STUDY GROUPS/ BIBLE CLASSES,& PRODUCTION/DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE.
