Education Charities

We aim to help and support families in the local area of Cudworth, Shafton, Brierley and Grimethorpe, encourage and support hard to reach learners back into education, training and employment. Partnership aims to develop local initiatives based on meaningful consultation and active involvement and participation of the community of the Cudworth area and West Green of Barnsley.

The objectives of Shotton Partnership 2000 Ltd. are for the benefit of the community in Shotton Colliery Durham to promote education and vocational training; create job opportunities; provide recreation and leisure facilities; improve the environment; promote public safety and reduce crime; and provide other services and facilities for community benefit as the charity sees fit.

Helping the needy , by giving them food, shelter, clothing, medical and grants. We also provide school meal and whatever else is needed to make them feel save in their community.

BACP exists to promote the welfare of the deprived and disadvantaged communities within Rochdale through:- vocational training,IT, Employability courses- welfare, advice & support services- day care centre for the BME elders- gender specific gym facilities- engaging children, young people & women in positive pursuits- language school for the children- community cohesion activities.

The objects of the charity are: (a) the advancement of learning and education in particular at williams college; and (b) such other exclusively charitable purposes as the trustees may in their absolute discretion determine.

Eagle's Nest Project seeks to provide alternative education solutions for young people on the margins of mainstream. This currently involves mentoring and providing short term small group courses for clusters of students. The long term vision is to see residential schools set up in small farms, outdoor centres or similar where young people learn the life skills they need to succeed for life.

To provide the benifit of the inhabitans and in particular the muslim children and young people in UK of advance of muslim faith,advance education facilities. To establish schools to teach children of ethnic minorities, their mother tongue and culture and help them with curriculum education. Support orphanages and prevent poverty.

We aim to embed mentally healthy movement in primary school aged children by shaping the culture, policy and provision of movement to support children's mental health. We develop and deliver products and services to help organisations, such as schools, understand and improve how to support staff and children in positively shaping their mental health.

The AIMS-Next Einstein Initiative (NEI) seeks to unlock and nurture scientific and technical talent across Africa and specifically involves the establishment and operation of a network of fifteen centres of excellence across Africa that are focused on the teaching of mathematical sciences to African university graduates.

PROVISION OF EDUCATION INCLUDING NATIONAL CURRICULUM EDUCATION TO GCSE LEVEL AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES.

The Slade Evangelical Church seeks to provide Biblical Christian teaching and ministry through Sunday services and midweek groups. It also seeks to reach out to and provide services to the surrounding area throughout the week through, for example, youth groups, meetings for elderly people, a toddlers and carers group, meals for the homeless and English classes for speakers of other languages.

Acorn Alternative Provision works in partnership with local churches, to deliver trauma-informed educational programmes and wrap-around support to young people who are facing exclusion or disengagement from mainstream school.

To advance the education of children below compulsory school age by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities and to advance the education of pupils attending Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School by furthering the charitable purposes of the Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School Fund.

In short the main activities we will be doing are- running lunch clubs for older people- running play schemes during school holidays for deaf children- providing information, advocacy and advice- running deaf clubs and organising social activities

Thames Life (TWCP) aims to be a catalyst for sustainable community-led change. The project brings together schools, community groups and residents from across the Thames ward of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to create a stronger, healthier, cleaner more confident, and cohesive community.

The purpose is the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire. At present the activities consist of operating a food bank, wellbeing activities to improve or manage mental health, community eco-cafe, employability support, advice, signposting and work and skills training for job-seekers.

A food parcel for up to a maximum of 7 days is supplied according to need.Referrals come from Case workers, Social workers, Support Staff and other agencies and an appropriate food parcel is prepared. Food is supplied by local churches, schools, firms and individuals and is checked and stored ready for distribution.

WE ARE A PRE SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN AGED BETWENN 2 AND 5 YEARS OLD.

Welcome Hubs, social events, exhibitions, festivals, ad hoc advice and support, English classes, translation/interpretation services to promote social inclusion and prevent discrimination for refugees, migrant workers and asylum seekers. We are currently seeking funding to deliver diversity and inclusion/hate crime/cultural awareness training across all Equality Act 2010 protected characteristics

Provision of Theatre to the Nottingham Community, the education in drama and music to schools and organizations in our area.

THE TRUST'S ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR CAN BE SUMMARISED AS: CONGREGATIONAL PRAYERS DAILY, FRIDAY SERMONS, CELEBRATING THETWO EID PRAYERS, EVENING SCHOOL FOR THE CHILDREN AGED 5 TO 15 FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY

THE CHARITY RUNS A COMMUNITY CENTRE. A FREE INTERNET CAFE OPEN FROM 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM 7 DAYS A WEEK. ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT ARE AVAILABLE. A RANGE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS, HALL HIRE, AND TRAINING COURSES RUN DAILY. THE PROBATION HUB OPERATES FROM THE CENTRE TWO DAYS A WEEK. OUR COMMUNITY KITCHEN IS USED TO COOK DONATED FOOD FOR LOCAL PEOPLE WITH FOODBANK VOUCHERS

Juvenis aims to act as a resource for young Londoners aged 10- 25 by providing advice, assistance, mentoring, recreational and educational activities as a means of:

1. Specialist advice,casework and advocacy to individuals in the areas of Employment Law & Discrimination law.2. Advice, training and support to community & voluntary sector organisations in the areas of Employment Law, Discrimination Law and Human Resources.3. Provision of Volunteering whereby individuals can gain skills, knowledge, training and improved employment opportunities.

The Circuit offers worship, including large celebrations; worship events for young adults; young family worship and family activity days. A congregation has moved to a new outreach base following the sale of their church building and an after school homework club meets in Toxteth.
