Education Charities

The charity operates the following activities. A charity shop and office that enables users of the service to gain work experience of working within a protected retail environment. The charity opertaes a voluntary weekly recreational disco event. Accomodation provision for learning disabled individuals.

(a) To provide relief in cases of necessity or distress among the WRNS Members of the Trust and among the dependants of such persons and to accept and administer any gift for any special or limited object in general accordance with the aims of the Trust.(b) To make provision in suitable cases for assistance with further education for WRNS Members of the Trust.

Operate as a church with ancillary activities within the community. There are many events, seminars and training programmes. Access to the courses, conferences and seminars contribute towards enhancement of lifelong learning and public benefit. Offer help and encouragement to the local community.

To promote the charitable purposes of West Buckland School.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools or in Church for schools. Promoting the whole mission of the Church. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Our main activity is the development of a phased capital build project on our 4.5 acre Tiber site. To support this ambition we deliver youth leadership and young enterprise training and mentoring programmes that upskill local young people so that they are able to join our Tiber Young People's Steering Group, which plays a significant part in all of our decision making processes.

The charity provides impartial advice, signposting & guidance around post-16 skills & training to the general public & other relevant external agencies such as DWP/ Job Centre Plus, care agencies, schools, colleges, business owners, employers, young people, their parents and carers & the wider community.The charity also provides practical support to those engaged in post-16 education/training.

Care and support of children and families in need including residential accommodation, respite care, oversight of pre-school nursery and holidays, and other community activities, in the context of family and unconditional love.

The main activity of the charity is to advance the effective, safe and ethical practice of aesthetic medicine to the benefit of all concerned through leadership, provision of information, education, support, professional development and the maintenance of the highest professional standards.

Our objective is to provide nursery and toddler facilities to the local Community including School Wrap Around facilities.

The Island provides a mentoring service to vulnerable 8 - 13 year-olds in York. Volunteer mentors meet weekly with their mentees (children and young people) to pursue a range of positive activities on a one-to-one basis.

(1) providing scholarships to Beneficiaries to learn about the practices and techniques employed in different parts of the world and to develop best-practices based upon this learning; and(2) providing a forum for the exchange and dissemination of information among Beneficiaries about agricultural, horticultural, fishing and countryside management best practices and related information.

We concentrate on those (semi) excluded from school and those deemed to be young offenders in order to enhance their chances of higher educational attainment and paid employment in the future. 2. Sunningwell School of Art is a unique centre for the tuition of art to students of all ages and abilities in many types of media, such as drawing, painting, printing, mixed media, ceramics and sculpture. Classes are tutored by professional art tutors.

Provision of educational services to 4-18 years old in Performing Arts.This includes working with a number of bodies to provide examinations in the Performing Arts in all forms of dance, musical theatre, Lamda, DDE and BTEC.

For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of disability by the provision of day activities for adults, over the age of 18 years, in the county of Staffordshire, in particular the provision of structured activities related to education, leisure and work-preparation.

Gypsies and Travellers Wales provides an extensive information, advice and liaison service to Gypsies and Travellers, the Local Authority and all relevant agencies and professionals. The Organisation also runs specific issue based projects: an IT-based Driving Theory course, provides IT & Literacy skills sessions, Employment skills workshops and weekly Youth activities sessions.

TAPE works to support creative ideas and activities of individuals, groups, organisations and businesses. TAPE provides safe, supported spaces in which people can explore and develop creative ideas. TAPE works to maximise opportunities for people through creative arts and media with a a pathway of support which ranges through engagement, training, education, social activity and employment.

The charity works with African partners on development programmes in Africa including: supporting the resettlement of children in Uganda from a Children's Home into families; supporting disadvantaged children though primary education in Uganda; supporting rural community groups in Uganda towards self reliance; supporting girls in university education in Ethiopia.

The charity provides high quality education and childcare. Abacus operates a term time nursery for 2 to 4 year olds, alongside Breakfast and After School Clubs for 2 to 11 year olds. As recognised by our Ofsted classification and award of the Kent Early Years Quality mark, Abacus is committed to supporting individual children and their families.
