We are a charity run preschool situated upstairs in the Evangelical church in Wigton.We have a good Ofsted, and deliver a age appropriate curriculum through play, for 0-4 years.All staff are qualified, ensuring the safety of each individual child and well being.

The Trust aims to provide an education for some of Ghana's most needy children, through the provision of infant and primary schools, and associated feeding and teacher training programmes.

To promote mental health amongst vulnerable people in Yorkshire who through their social circumstances are in need and in particular to promote and support schemes where such people may receive training and develop skills for employment

SOS Africa invests 100% of the funds it raises into holistic education, training and learning support programmes for disadvantaged African children and youth. This grassroots approach enables them to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential. Since 2003 SOS Africa has established 4 education centres supporting hundreds of children with many graduates at university or in employment.

To advance the education of the public through grants to institutions including charities, colleges, research institutes and schools. The purpose of the charity is to promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding of specific areas of study, skills and expertise including the arts, culture, heritage, music, science and sports.

HELOA's main purpose is to support prospective students to access higher education, thereby advancing education in all subjects offered at degree level. HELOA provides training and development opportunities to its higher education institution members and, through its events and newsletter, acts as a network for sharing best practice.

Chandran Foundation aims to help young people from all backgrounds achieve their potential. Our tutors work with under 11s to improve Maths and English and build confidence. Chandran Foundation runs after school clubs, now called GetSmart clubs for primary school children to improve Maths and English skills.

Our charity provides continuity of care for children of a transient population (HM Forces) from the age of 6 weeks to 11 years.

Development, operation & promotion of a transport museum. Displaying buses, coaches, battery electric vehicles & fire engines, on-going restoration programmes, undertakes research into aspects of public transport industry & assist others to do similar. Educational information/displays for general public, including school children.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with young people living in Avon who are socially excluded or at serious risk of being socially excluded by the provision of educational and training opportunities which engage, motivate, build awareness, skills and capacity around safe vehicle road use and ownership, vehicle repair, maintenance, Further Education and employment.

Offering appropriate play, education and care facilities, family learning and extended hours groups, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of such groups, ensuring that such groups offer opportunities for all children whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

Our projects include: St Mellons Pantry (a community-led project tackling food insecurity); Pantry Garden (wildlife-friendly community food growing space); Wellbeing Workshops with local schools; Friendship & activity groups e.g. Crafty Chats, Diamond Art Club, Stay & Play, Nature Club; St Mellons Mutual Aid Fund; Step Out Scholarship Fund.

Maintain & manage Hexham Community Centre to provide offices for rent, rooms for hire & facilities to voluntary & Community groups in the Hexham & Tynedale Area. Also to facilitate two elderly persons groups and provide OFSTED registered Pre-school Playgroup, who now also facilitate the Parent & Toddler group held in the Community Centre.

Activities have been aimed at receiving tax-efficient donations to enable the making of charitable grants to support education for the public benefit at or in connection with Westminster School. In future, the Charity plans to support projects such as the award of bursaries to enable 'needs-blind' admission, refurbishment of Little Dean's Yard and the new Sports Centre.

Provision of space for prayers and public worship, including school assemblies. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Promotion and teaching of Christianity through sermons courses, events and meetings etc. Promotion of Christianity and mission of the Church including through provision of services for special groups, distribution of literature etc. Supporting other charities.

The Trust supports the advancement of education at King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham in such ways as the Trustees see fit, but in particular by providing funds for Assisted Places (bursaries) to talented girls on the basis of financial need to enable them to attend the School. The Trust mainly seeks support from alumnae, parents and former parents, companies and charitable trusts.

Babylon Educational Foundation is a voluntary organisation that aims to strengthen educational outcomes, provide support to learners, and improve learning environments for students, teachers, and the wider community.We aim to offer and support children and young people through education and careers. Our goal is to make a positive impact through education and humanitarian aid.

We offer a range of services to young people aged 9-25 as well as members of the wider community including open access sessions, issue based work, sports/well-being, outreach/detached sessions, employment projects, volunteering opportunities, a domestic abuse awareness project and intensive one to one support sessions.

The Charity runs two schools one for nursery and other for primary education with the objectives to develop children with full personalities and a broad prejudice free perspective, to teach love and respect for all forms of life, to build character based on strong moral and social values and to teach children academically by working with them individually at their own speed.

We are a parent-involving community based group providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children. The pre-school offers a tailored curriculum promoting the importance of play in the development of the child. Session themes centre around the natural environment with half of the sessions held entirely outdoors in our purpose-made nature garden.

Avondale Gymnastics provides gymnastics activities to children from 18 months to 18 years.We have a dedicated gymnasium and cater for all children whatever their ability from grass roots upwards.
