Education Charities

The charity exists to:- develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school- engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils- provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school which are not normally provided by the Local Education Authority

To promote the understanding and appreciation of the decorative and fine arts through a series of public lectures and with visits to relevant exhibitions, museums, galleries and historic houses. Also by giving grants to schools to encourage arts activities and the spread of knowledge about art and artists with an emphasis on involvement in practical projects.

To assist the Paston College and its students in any way deemed appropriate by the trustees. Currently regular expenditure is:- Insurance premium for a collection of Horatio Nelson memorabilia (a student at Paston) - Annual grants to students nominated by the college - From 2008 bursary grants to students outside catchment area to assist travelling.General financial support to the college.

St Margarets PA exists mainly to raise funds for additional equipment and activities for the pupils of St Margaret's School. This is through fundraising activities such as christmas and summer fairs, quiz nights and so on.

Provision and mainternance of a village hall and playing field at Hinton St George. This is the only village communal facility other than the school which has no hall, the parish church and the pub. Facilities are open to all organisations and individuals. Regular users include village sports and social groups and classes, wedding receptions and other special events.

The charity assists pupils or past pupils of Charterhouse School, usually for educational purposes, where there is hardship.

Promote and enhance the education of the children of Courtland School

To provide a scholarship to be called the 'Morriston Davies Scholarship' to be awarded annually to a doctor or nurse for the furtherance of research into the prevention, treatment and cure of tuberculosis and other respiratory desease. The Trustees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.

The Charity provides meeting rooms for voluntary, community and other organisations.

Parent, Teacher and Friends Association of Hernhill CEP School - organising and carrying out events to raise funds for the school and surrounding community.

Provides scouting activities to boys and girls from age six to 18 through a Beaver Colony, Cubs Pack, Scout Troop and Explorer Scout troup.

To foster relationships between parents, teachers and children involved within Tockington Manor School in order to fund raise to purchase extra learning items that enhance the environment of the school.

Fundraising to purchase equipment and support activities at Wentworth Primary School

TO RAISE FUNDS ON BEHALF OF CHARFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL, TO ENABLE THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE BETTER RESOURCES FOR THE CHILDREN.

We are a youth and children's football club that provides football management and coaching to boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old, along with "Little Kickers" under 6 engagement sessions. The children then participate in matches at the weekend representing the club.We also have various sporting activities that utilise the facilities in the evenings.

The Beck Community Centre provides a facility for multiple user groups of all ages in the South East area of Kendal , where no other such facility exists. These include Groups for babies, childminders,uniformed groups, senior citizens, Church, modern dance,ballet, keep fit , groups with disabilities,U3A groups, coffee mornings, charity fundraisers and the capacity for hire by local residents

To further the training of young men and women, seeking to become practising members of the Bar in England and Wales. The Trustees will consider applications for funding for a variety of initiatives, where it can be demonstrated that the initiative complies with this basic objective. The Trustees do NOT consider applications for funding places on the Bar Vocational Course.

To provide Radnor House Sevenoaks School with bursaries for pupil admissions into the senior school.

Numerous events based around school life

Stone Choral Society is open to everyone. We rehearse once a week and each year give 3 to 4 concerts in local churches and schools. We involve surrounding villages by staging outreach concerts in halls and churches.

Fundraising to benefit pupils of The Deanery Church of England Primary School.

To raise money to supply equipment and activities for the school

Operation & maintenance of the village hall including regular use by village primary school, satellite doctor's surgery, village post office and hire to clubs and individuals within and without the village.

Provision of building, facilities and open space for community use.

Grants awarded to university students having certain connections with the community of Denbigh.
