Education Charities

St Andrew's CE Aided Parent Teacher Association raises funds to provide extra resources to support the education & welfare of the children attending the school.

The hall exists to provide leisure, recreational and community facilities for the residents in Essendine and surrounding villages. Activities using the hall include Yoga, Martial Arts,U3A, Mother and Toddler Group, Luncheon Club and Band practices. In addition the hall is used for private functions such as children's parties, wedding receptions and sales.

The charity supports the educational and social development of children at the school through financial and management support for the development of the school environment projects, playgrounds and sporting activities.

Weekly orchestral rehearsals leading to 4 annual public concerts.Outreach activities with local schools and other organisations.

Organising and running fund raising activities; including a christmas fair, wrap a present, quiz night, camp out night, Colour Run and hot dog and ice cream Fridays.

Providing facilities for a large range of activities: from Pre-School to Over 50s groups. Including Rainbows and Brownies, Dance Classes Yoga and karate. Music & reading groups. The facilities are also available for hire for children parties and most type of function.

REFOCUS WORKS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFITS BY ADDRESSING THE NEEDS MAINLY OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC ORIGIN IN AND AROUND READING, BERKSHIRE WHO ARE EITHER INVOLVED IN CRIME OR AT RISK OF BECOMING SO. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, LIFE-SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELLING, COACHING, IN-SCHOOL PROJECTS AND HOLIDAY PROVISIONS.

Events including a Christmas Bazaar, a village Duck Race, a Summer Fete and several school discos. For the Duck Race we engage with local businesses who sponsor races and pay for advertising in the programme. Local businesses also provide prizes for raffles and games at the Christmas Bazaar, Duck Race and Summer Fete. Foss is part of the Easyfundraising scheme & participates in Bags for School.

The Rev. Tatton Brockman was vicar of Brenzett, Cheriton and Newington-Next-Hythe at various times and assistance is only available to individuals and schools etc that are located within these areas.

Develop extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of pupils attending it.

1) Promoting Education (including religous, social & physical training) of pupils attending Ratcliffe College.2) By awarding Bursaries. 3) In promoting education of pupils as aforesaid the trustees shall give preference to the sons & daughters of former pupils of Ratcliffe College and for the benefit of children of poor Irish parents

Trustee of Church of England primary school properties located within the Borough of Warrington and in this role it provides support to the schools by way of repair grants and contributions to capital projects

We organise various fundraising events, rent out halls for dance classes, badminton, keep fit, art. Organise childrens parties, make donations to all local childrens clubs and old folk charities.and local schools.

Awarding scholarships exhibitions endowments or grants or maintenance allowances tenable at the Prebendal School Chichester and making grants to Western Orchestral Society Ltd and Western Orchestral Foundation Charity.

Long Crendon School PTA organises a variety of fundraising events during each year and the surplus raised by these events is passed on to the school to be spent on educational facilities.

To provide special benefits, not normally provided by the local education authority or by grant aid paid under section 79 (i) of the education reform act 1988, to the Simon Langton Boys School and Simon Langton Girls School.

We are a group of 11 Trustees. There are 4 elected members, 5 Representative Members serving the community who represent the U3A, WI, Girl Guides, Keep Fit, Parish Council and there are also two co-opted Trustees. Our Committee also has two Honorary Officers who are appointed annually to fulfill the roles of Treasurer and Secretary.

Parent Teacher Association, with primary focus on fundraising for Downlands Community School in Hassocks, West Sussex.Activities include prize draws, quiz nights, summer fair, christmas market, prom fashion show, catering for school events.

This Parent Teacher's Asscociation supports the activities of Englefield Primary School.

The object of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils of Earls Hall Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).

- Education: ESOL and sewing classes for women- Help with housing difficulties.- Elders social club: meets one day a week.- Out-reach services: informal drop-in.- Health Issues: Women's health workshops, etc.- Youth project: a space for young people to address issues that concern them.

Provision of school equipment

Provides support to the school through the active involvement of parents in communication between parents, governors and teachers, organising activities for parents, children and teachers and fundraising for improvements in the school facilities.

We are a pre-school running with an average of 25 children, from the ages of 2 to 4. We have a wonderful setting and have achieved extremely high standards in our ofsted reports.

To provide care and education in a safe and secure environment for children aged 2 - 5 years old during term time.To offer out of school facilities during the summer holidays for children aged 2 - 8 years.
