Education Charities

The charity runs a charity shop, the profits of which are used to pay for a Youth Team who form relationships with young people through youth clubs, local schools and holiday activities.

The PCC and Leadership Team have adopted the Vision Statement 'Tomorrow can be different for us all'.With this in mind we look to serve and be involved in the local community, bringing the the light and love of Christ to those around us, working with children in local schools, adults through various groups that meet both in the Church building, as well as offsite.

Raising money from school fairs, cake sales, quiz nights etc to benefit the students at St Stephens School.

THE BRISTOL CHILDRENS PLAYHOUSE IS A PRE-SCHOOL WITH A 2'S AND 3'S ROOM. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT IN EARLY YEARS DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS SAFEGUARDING THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN WITHIN THE FAMILY. THE PLAYHOUSE IS SITUATED IN ONE OF THE MOST DISADVANTAGED AND CULTURALLY DIVERSE AREAS OF BRISTOL. WE PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE TO MEET AND PLAY TO ENABLE PARENTS AND CHILDREN TO GAIN POSITIVE EXPERIENCES.

Provides a venue which is manned by one paid staff and volunteers for various 'surgeries', Housing Benefits, Housing Advice for tenants, Fresh steps NHS,Job Club. Drop in help and advice and sign posting Organizes various activities in the community, every school holiday activities days, Brunch Clubs Prepares a regular Community Newsletter/manages a website

Pre-school

Pre-School providing early years education for 2 - 5 year old chidlren.

Clapham Park Project is a resident led community organisation which supports individuals in need in Lambeth.The organisation delivers projects supporting young people,the elderly and the unemployed.We undertake a range of community development activities which help residents to be active in their community,we also coordinate a Neighborhood Forum ensuring local people have a voice on local issues.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Provide quality education for children primarily under statutory school age in a welcoming, caring, calm, child-orientated environment where the curriculum is based around promoting the Early Years Foundation Stage Themes set by the DofE.The preschool operates from Navestock Village Hall, Essex. Which enjoys a countryside location.

Provide education and care for pre-school aged children, in an ofsted approved environment, in the Great Yarmouth area. Activities include; arts and crafts and learning through play. We also support children and families with special needs.

We provide an alternative environment where people with SEND or social disadvantage can learn new skills knowledge, and experience for sustainable employment and independent living. We offer a large range of activities at the farm, kitchen, cafe and collaborate with education partners and community organisations to ensure the successful progress of our beneficiaries.

Home-Start is a voluntary home-visiting scheme for families with pre-school children who may be under stress and experiencing difficulties. Volunteers offer regular support to the families in their own homes.

We offer high quality, affordable, inclusive and accessible childcare for children primarily under statutory school age.We work to enhance the atmosphere of our local community by creating a thriving family environment where children can continue to develop and learn, working in partnership with statutory, professional and voluntary groups to meet the needs of children and families.

Early Explorers groups for families 0-3yr olds delivering Peep Learning Together programme, Early readers for schools promoting early literacy, Grandparents groups, Transition groups in schools, Little Talkers for families on speech & language waiting list, Active play sessions, Story Explorers volunteer-led home sessions, Training for schools/nurseries, Volunteering opportunities & training.

Provision of pre-school education and a Community Hub

Westhoughton Vision took responsibility of the building which was previously the Community College in 2017. We began our new organisation as a registered Charity in July 2021 and formed The Hub at Westhoughton with the support of local councillors, Bolton Council and a team of enthusiastic volunteers. The advancement of the Christian faith through the preaching and proclamation of the Christian gospel and through serving our community to meet spiritual, mental, emotional and physical needs. We offer activities and support for all ages, through midweek programs, local feeding programs for those suffering with food poverty, education mentoring, and regular public worship for all.

A Community Centre providing a wide range of services to the local community. These include rooms for activities, meetings and a wide range of adult education courses.

Work-wise is an employer inspired and led initiative for science, technology, engineering, manufacturing and related sectors to support the development of young people so they have the knowledge, skills, aptitude and opportunities for employment within the Sheffield City Region

Poppins Nursery and Pre School is a charity run nursery for children 2-5 years of age.
