Education of persons under the age of 25 years who are resident inthe area comprising the Parishes ofStamfordham,Belsay,Capheaton and Matfen or who have a parent or parents so resident or who have attended as apupil at a school in Stamfordham or Belsay who are in need of financial assisstanc

Organizing social and fund-raising events to support the education and development of children and young people, who have various disabilities and attend Oak View School, and their parents. We also receive donations from parents and supporters of the school.

To advance the education of pupils at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the LEA).

The Charity supports higher and further education by the provision of freehold land to the University of Chichester, the loan of an art collection to the University and by the making of grants in accordance with the Objects of the Charity.

We hold various events such as a quiz night, fashion show, provide refreshments at school events all to raise money to support the school in providing prizes for prize day and equipmet for Departments etc.

The trustees have chosen to use the foundation's assets to provide grants and bursaries for the arts and related travel. The trustees do not normally support individuals direct.All grant applications must be submitted via email to [email protected]. The purposes of the trust are to maintain the bells of St George's Church Stockport,maintenance of the church fabric,school, parish rooms and the help to the poor and sick of the surrounding area.

- Elders support work (hot meals, dementia support)- Support work with young people with health/mental health needs- Community culture and heritage- General community support and signposting (benefits, housing, employment, education advocacy)

To enhance the experiences of our students by working in partnership and the community with families and other organisations to provide additional opportunities outside of the core offer education funded by the local authority.

To advance the education of pupils at Stockport Grammar School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School. This is achieved by organising activities and social events to raise funds which are used to make grants to provide equipment and bursaries.

We provide girls from the age of 4 to 18 a safe girl only space to develop skills and self confidence to take them into the adult world. They are led by volunteer leaders who allow the girls as much self governance as is practicable for their age.

To provide clothing and ancillary assistance to needy children of families resident in the area covered by the former Scarborough Divisional Executive and normally attending publicly maintained schools in the said area.Such assistance shall terminate at the end of the year in which children attain their 18th birthday or when the familiy circumstances are deemed to no longer warrant assistance.

Cumnor School Association raises money for use in the school. Fund-raising activities include a Christmas Bazaar and a Summer Fete and Barbecue. The money is used to buy a variety of equipment for the school in each key stage.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS THE MAIN PUBLIC AMENITY IN THE VILLAGE. IT IS USED EVERY DAY DURING TERM TIME BY THE LOCAL SCHOOL FOR LUNCHES, PHYSICAL TRAINING AND ASSEMBLIES. OTHER REGULAR USERS ARE THE KEEP FIT CLUB, THE BOWLS CLUB, THE JUDO CLUB, THE WI AND THE HISTORY SOCIETY. IT IS ALSO HIRED BY THE CRICKET CLUB AND THE CHURCH. We raise money by holding both social and fundraising events at our school. The money we raise goes towards classroom and playground equipment. The main items purchased this year were technology for the school. Contributions are also made towards shortfalls on school trips, year 6 leavers bible, literacysupport and arts & crafts for school.

Various fundraising activities.

The hall has accommodated a number of organisations on a regular basis (eg. pre-school, judo, WI, Tremletts Social Club) and others on a weekly, monthly or irregular basis. All groups benefit from the use of the hall for leisure and educational purposes. The hall has been maintained to a high standard with further work envisaged in the future. The Hall's varied facilities are well used by the local community. Activities include a successful over 60s luncheon club, yoga and keep fit classes, U3A groups, wood turners group, pantomime, badminton and, Old Cornwall Society. The National Blood Transfusion Service and Cornwall Council use the Hall. Private functions are welcomed.

The raising of funds in the UK for the promotion and encouragement of education at Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa which is located in Eswatini (previously known as Swaziland). The emphasis is on providing financial support to assist students, who are both able and disadvantaged, to attend.

For travelling scholarships or other financial aid to Nationals of Scandinavian Countries to assist and encourage them in research in English Literature and general education assistance as decided by the Governors of Abo Akademi University

Supports national charities,& local charities in NE & SE England. Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

Provide Scouting activities for boys and girls from 4 to 18 years of age.All activities are carried out in accordance with The Scouts' rules which can be seen at www.scouts.org.uk.All Leaders undertake a progressive training programme.

Put on events for the pupils of Harold Wood Primary School, their families and the local community to raise funds for the school. These activities include but are not limited to Summer and Christmas fayres, Mother and Father's Day gift sales, Firework displays and the selling of discounted tickets to local attractions.

The charity carries out fund raising activities in aid of the Downley School. This includes activities such as Summer Fayre, Christmas Fayre, Fireworks, discos, disco bingos and general community support.

The Trust is primarily for the benefit of assisting towards the cost of school clothing for secondary school pupils. This is under review with the aim of adding in other funds and updating activities.
