Education Charities

The Charity operates for the benefit of necessitous Church of England clergy in the Dioceses of Durham and Newcastle, and for charitable purposes connected with Lincoln College Oxford. It also makes a number of small annual payments to organisations and for purposes set out in the will of the founder of 1721.

Advancement of the education of the public by: 1) Offering courses of instruction to the public that will promote the mental and creative development of the individual, including Transcendental Meditation and related advanced techniques. 2) Establishing, conducting and maintaining an institution of further education and additional educational facilities. 3) Making grants to other charities.

The advancement of Christian religion in the UK and overseas through evangelism, teaching, mentoring, training and distribution of materials and by such other means being charitable as the organisation shall determine.

To pursue the objects of the charity with all the resources available to the charity.

Cambridge House is a social action centre that works with vulnerable individuals, families and communities to tackle the injustice of poverty. Services include1. Education & respite 2. The object for which the Charity is established is to promote and provide for the advancement of education for the public in the teachings of the late Dr Rudolf Steiner. In furtherance of its object the charity operates the South Devon Steiner School which provides for the education of children. Its further activities include the organisation of cultural events, lectures and meetings.

Citizens Advice West Northants and Cherwell provides advice, information and assistance on a wide range of issues including debt, benefits, employment, housing, consumer and family problems. Citizens Advice West Northants and Cherwell serves the areas of West Northamptonshire and North Oxfordshire.

THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS ESTABLISHED ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BYPROVIDING AND MANAGING ACCOMMODATION AND RELATED SERVICES FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS,THEIR STUDENTS AND OTHER PERSONS ASSOCIATED WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. THE COMPANY CURRENTLY OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY IN THE LEICESTER AREA

The Charity runs a day school for Dyslexic Children, registered by DFeS, some children are privately funded, the rest are funded by Local Education Authorities. Age range from 7+ to 16+.

St Stephen's House is an Anglican Theological College and Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford offering formation, education and training for a variety of qualifications and ministries. St Stephen's House also hosts summer school and seminars and acts as a centre for sabbaticals and retreats. Its grade I listed church is also let as a venue for concerts and other musical events.

Our objectives support achievement of the five outcomes for children. We are passionate about delivering high quality services to children and families: offering extensive outreach family support project, a range of centre based activities supporting healthier lifestyles, childcare and parent child interventions. Parents/young people are supported to access employment and training opportunities.

We plan and run a programme of childcare & informal youth groups for different ages, both in & around the YMCA, including Family Support.We deliver quality training programmes for young people, including Focus Groups and Young Carers.We also run a nursery & manage Breakfast Clubs & Out of School Clubs at 8 locations.At our Colchester site we provide accommodation for up to 44 young people

Relief of poverty, hardship and distress by providing (or assisting in) accomodation for poor and homeless people in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northamptonshire, and their education, training and employment training to develop employment skills. Support for other Emmaus Communities.

Chance for Childhood is an award-winning charity working in Africa to support the most vulnerable children, often invisible from society, such as street children, disabled children, children affected by conflict and children in conflict with the law. These children are often hidden members of their communities, unable to go to school, excluded from society and living in abject poverty.

Education of disadvantaged people as Trainees by actual involvement in commercial activity/employment experience. Camden Garden Centre Charitable Trust carries out this charitable function through the vehicle of its wholly owned subsidiary Camden Garden Centre Ltd (co. reg. no. 1592398) which employs Trainees in agreement with the Trust.

South Lee School was established in 1961 by a group of parents, to carry on and develop an independent preparatory day school to provide first class education for the children of Bury St Edmunds, the county of Suffolk and adjacent counties.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY FOSTERING THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS IN INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF FELLOWSHIP AND CO-OPERATION AMONG MEMBERS, ASSOCIATES AND AFFILIATES OF THE ASSOCIATION AND THROUGH CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER BODIES WITH SIMILAR CHARITABLE OBJECTS.

The Institute's aim is to promote high quality education outcomes for all children and young people, regardless of social background by employing an impartial and evidence based approach. In addition to its focus on raising standards in education from early years through to higher education and beyond, the EPI's also researches young people's mental health.

The trust is established to: advance Christianity in accordance with the doctrines of the faith; relieve people who are in charitable need, because of sickness or poor health, age, financial hardship or some other reason; promote and provide education (including vocational training); promote such other charitable objects as the trustees from time to time determine.

Promotion of the mental, physical and spiritual well being of children and young people and the relief of children in need of care and protection by the provision of day care facilities, and facilities for such children outside school hours and during school holidays.
