Education Charities

The OMC works:1. on high-level academic research into achieving psychological balance through mindfulness (as recommended, e.g. by NICE for depression); 2. on academically rigorous application of those practices in therapy, CPD etc;3. on training others to research and apply those practices; and specifically4. on promoting and administering such activity in Oxford University.

Working towards a community where children and young people are able to fulfill their potential and parents & guardians are equipped to support their families.The charity manages a variety of projects including Community Nursery, Out of School & Holiday Care Project, Positive Activities for Young People, support services for local women, & a range of evening/weekend sports & community facilities

The Charity delivers a co-produced activities and arts programme, a volunteering programme and education, training, signposting, employment support, health support and access to external services through weekly clinics. We also work strategically internally and externally, with people marginalised by homelessness, to try to eradicate homelessness in Manchester.

To advance the education of and to provide care facilities of children of school age via the provision of recreational and leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare and thereby to improve the conditions of their lives.

Revivall Church in Welwyn Garden City, Waltham Cross, Milton Keynes, Bracknell and Bath are congregations of the charity. Revivall Bible College is also located in Welwyn Garden City. The church is very lively with Connect Groups, Children's and Youth Groups.

We offer a meaningful option for young people living with a disability who are aged 17 plus. The training and support we offer includes: Employment and Education via work placements. Independent Living using our life skills programme.Health and Well-being and Social Inclusion to promote a healthy lifestyle and independence.

The Mission of St Francis School is to prepare today's children for tomorrow's world.Healthcare - The Charity continues to support St Francis Nursing Home in Govan, Glasgow. Pastoral work - the charity supports pastoral work of sisters and runs a retreat centre near Chesterfield

Kensington & Chelsea Mind develops and delivers services for people suffering from mental health problems. Services include: Training and Employment Services, An Information Line , Workshops to Promote Mental Wellbeing, Service User Network (SUN), Peer support programme, A pilot in peer brokerage for personal health budgets and Opportunities for volunteering As well as providing services.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS TRUST IS TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE FEES PAYABLE TO THE SCHOOL BY PUPILS WHO WOULD BE UNABLE TO CONTINUE EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL WITHOUT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR WHO WOULD BE UNABLE TO COMMENCE EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL DESPITE BEING ACCEPTED.

To advance education, including (without limitation) by identifying, teaching mentoring and developing highly gifted African children and young people and advancing the education of the gifted generally. The aim is to set a benchmark for gifted education and deliver high quality gifted educational opportunities in cooperation with leading African universities and international partners.

The charity is based in Shropshire where it provides accommodation , a furniture restoration and cafe project as well as mentoring to people leaving prison.

The Charity has been established to provide University level courses for students of St Lawrence University, Canton, New York, USA and other institutions of higher education.

The Halton Tennis Centre (HTC) brings together Royal Air Force Tennis and Halton Village Tennis Club into an exciting and forwarding looking "partnership". HTC is a strong community based facility supporting disability tennis (club of the year 2013), other local charities, and children who are unable to pay. It provides coaching services to 24 local schools and to public sports facilities.
