Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK) is an educational charity created by students and staff at NUS in response to the climate emergency and ecological crisis. We support students to learn, act and lead for sustainability.

Carbon Gap is promoting and advancing the science-based case for carbon removal laid out by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and other respected international scientific bodies, and through this, delivering a fundamental component of the IPCC-recommended mitigation strategy for climate change.

Marches Energy Agency (MEA) specialises in the delivery of practical, effective and creative ways of promoting and enabling energy reduction and renewable energy solutions.

It works in East Africa and South Asia to promote affordable reliable energy services for poor consumers to improve income generation, enterprise development, health & education. Our unique relationship with the Renewable Energy industry allows us to leverage skills, expertise and resources to support and develop our work.

We work with smallholder farmers in Africa and Latin America to develop innovative solutions to the challenges they face. Activities include strengthening the capacity of smallholders to adapt to climate change; enhance on-farm productivity and incomes; strengthen governance and leadership; improve farmer-to-farmer communications and knowledge sharing.

The Downforce Trust promotes action on climate change, specifically through funding research and programmes designed to accelerate the deployment and scaling of known technologies. The Trust has a particular interest in carbon drawdown using nature-based solutions as these are available and scalable today.

Educate and inform MPs regarding climate change and policy options for promoting renewable energy. Collaborate with development agencies to build capacity of parliaments in developing countries to make policy on climate and clean energy. Build up a network of interested MPs in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

The Carbon Literacy Project was created to deliver on an objective in Manchester's climate plan to offer everyone who lives, works or studies in the city a day's worth of learning about climate change. The Climate Outreach Information Network (COIN) is a charity formed in 2004 to directly engage the public about climate change. COIN inspires lasting changes in attitudes and behaviour through the use of innovative action learning methods and by assisting people to communicate their own messages to their peers.

Through the merger with Doctors of Rahman DOR we have a huge potential now of specialist doctors teaching/operating and fundraising.

The principal activity of the charity is to promote gas safety.The key objectives are to further improve gas/fossil fuel safety for the public and industry throughout the United Kingdom and to reduce the incidents of death and serious injury from carbon monoxide exposure.

Mlinda Foundation's focus is to facilitate development of rural electrification projects using renewable energy in India. Communities in project areas had no access to reliable electricity and opportunities to earn income were limited. Initial results from project areas show household income has increased by over 60% through the use of electric-powered equipment in households and for agriculture.

Engineers Without Borders UK brings people, ideas and engineering together to address the complex global challenges associated with the effects of climate change, resource depletion, urbanisation and population growth. We primarily work in the UK education sector and with local partners on development projects in sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Asia and Latin America.

We provide grant-based funding to charitable organizations focussed on combatting climate change. We select them based on a detailed methodology and monitor their effectiveness on an ongoing basis. We work with financial institutions to make it normal and easy for their clients to provide grant funding to these organizations. We educate on issues associated with climate change.
