We manage 1700 acres of land, run a busy countryside events programme, lead school visits, helped by a substantial team of volunteers, carry out habitat management tasks, wildlife surveys and community involvement projects and advise other land managers on good practice.

The charitable activities are focussed on the Khomani San in Kalahari, conservation agriculture in Namibia, wildlife conservation in southern Africa and financial support to various UK registered charities in the fields of international conservation and/ or community development.

The land under the jurisdiction of the Conservators is administered by the Conservators with a view to its preservation as an open space for the purposes of exercise and recreation. This is the principal object set out in the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Act 1871. It includes the management of the land and its flora and fauna.

The Foundation is currently focusing on raising funds and actively working for the survival of tigers, elephants, rhinos and other critically endangered mammals in the wild. Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK) is an educational charity created by students and staff at NUS in response to the climate emergency and ecological crisis. We support students to learn, act and lead for sustainability.

The organisation will conserve rehabilitate and improve the rivers streams watercourses and water impoundments of the catchments comprising the rivers of Norfolk including adjacent estuarine and coastal areas for the advancement of environmental protection and improvement for the benefit of the public.

SolarAid combats poverty and climate change by providing access to solar lights in Africa to help catalyse solar markets and eradicate the kerosene lamp. We have created a social enterprise, SunnyMoney, who sell lights via sustainable school networks and local enterprises.

Viva! is a vegan charity campaigning to save animals. We reveal how farmed animals are treated and have placed many major investigations in the media. Viva! also educates and campaigns on the impact of diet on wildlife, the planet and our health. We present talks, cookery demos and produce a lovely array of helpful materials. We run the Vegan Recipe Club, 7 and 30 Day Vegan and My Vegan Town.

Wellbeing/educational programmes in woodland and green spaces, helping disadvantaged adults and children refocus and rebuild their lives; engaging them in skills learning and self development: NEET, victims of crime, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, ex-forces, unemployed, disengaged from school, learning disabilities.
