Environment Charities

The objects of the Institute are to advance the education of the public in the protection of the environment in the continent of Europe and in all forms of national and international policy relating thereto, and to carry out research and enquiry into all aspects of the environment and environmental policy. Objects are achieved by research, advisory services, reports, conferences, website etc

The objectives of the charity are to promote for the benefit of the public the preservation and conservation of rare and endangered species together with plants and trees. The charity also aims to advance the education of the public about such endangered species and to conduct research throughout the world and publish reports and findings.

The objectives of the charity are to care for sick, injured and distressed swans and other wildlife. It undertakes this work from its premises in Shepperton where it has buildings and equipment for this purpose and these are open to the public

Provides affordable counselling services.

In cooperation with the owners, Manchester Ship Canal Company and Peel Holdings, WECG Works at the Woolston Eyes site of special scientific interest to 1, collect data 2, manage the habitat 3, provide visitor facilities.

We provide affordable childcare for up to 26 children aged between 2-5 years. Fundraisng events take place throughout the year and funds from this enables the children to experience trips and events throughout the year.

The GRC is an umbrella organisation supporting arts play and educational groups within the county of Gloucestershire. We provide a comprehensive range of practical services including a Scrapstore promoting the re-use of business surplus materials for creative activities, creative training and art, craft supplies.

To promote and provide for education and science in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, in particular but not by way of limitation in the fields of environmental protection, preservation and conservation; and to promote for the public benefit the preservation of the natural beauty, flora and fauna of St. Margaret's-at-Cliffe and such other areas as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Our mission is for the WEL network to be the primary NGO sector influencer of environmental policy, legislation and practice in Wales, respected for our members expertise and advice and at the centre of government decision making.

The main aim of the charity is to promote animal welfare and prevent cruelty, with an emphasis on the Philippines. We rescue rehabilitate and rehome domestic animals, we finance and support a veterinary hospital in the Philippines, we run an education programme in schools and support and work with other charities around the world with comparable aims and objectives.

SUPPORT OF WILDLIFE

Furniture Re-use Project originally set up to relieve hardship by providing low cost furniture and appliances to those in need. Provision of work experience and training for individuals seeking employment. Increasingly important is our environmental role in diverting items from landfill.

To: -Educate and inform the public about nature, wildlife, food & nutrition. -Teach people how to grow healthy nutritious food -Enhance health & wellbeing through access to true nature-Provide habitat for indigenous wildlife to help reverse species extinction -Research gardening techniques with the potential to restore soil health and store atmospheric carbon to mitigate climate change

Addressing climate change by grant making to environmental organisations mainly focused on regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

We have a vision of Epping Forest being a thriving forest, rich in biodiversity, heritage and culture; enjoyed and conserved now and for generations to come. To achieve this we deliver work against our 3 strategic objectives to:1. educate and inspire people about the Forest2. do hands on work to conserve and grow the Forest3. protect the Forest through research and advocacy.

The trust's objects are to advance education of the public at large in the science of zoology by the study of wildlife in its natural habitat particularly in Kenya and the rest of Africa.

Supports persons on low income and state benefits through Recycling furniture and household ItemsAlleviates poverty

PPCF support projects that change values and attitudes, promote equity and social justice, develop radical alternatives to economic and social structures. Areas of specific interest are peace issues and environmental sustainability.

Furthering the craft of beekeeping.

To stimulate public interest and care for the landscape, wildlife, archaeology, architecture, heritage and history of East Dorset and Dorset as a whole.

Provides food, furniture, household goods, to people in need. Enables recycling of furniture through a free collection service. The furniture is sold at affordable prices or given away to vulnerable individuals or families.
