Forest Farm Peace Garden is a therapeutic community garden which works with a broad cross-section of the community to promote health, wellbeing, inclusion, environmental sustainability, and intercultural awareness.

We are a charity working in partnership with Hyndburn Borough Council , facilitating and supporting the Rhyddings Community Events Programme along with the opening and running of a community cafe in the park utilising produce grown in the kitchen garden.

The historic Gardens are maintained for the enjoyment of the public, for the growth and propagation of trees and plants, for the furtherance of the study and science of botany, and for the promotion of the conservation of nature, especially those rarer species of plants and trees in danger of loss of cultivation.

Woodgate Valley Urban Farm is a focus for the empowerment & practical involvement of people from the local community in rural activities.. There is an emphasis upon young people, the disadvantaged, and the underprivileged to whom we give general support, life skills training & basic confidence in a non judgemental environment. We are members of Social Farms & Gardens.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

High Hazels Park is situated in Darnall, Sheffield. The objects of the charity are the provision and maintenance of a public park and recreation ground in Sheffield for the use of members of the public resorting thereto with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The Ted Ellis Trust maintains a nature reserve at Wheatfen Broad, Surlingham in the Yare Valley SSSI in Norfolk with extensive walks open to the public all year round. The Friends of the Trust organise fund raising events and run courses, mainly on natural history. The warden also leads guided walks and give talks.

The St Mary's Old Church is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and grade II listed monument halfway along the Greensand Ridge footpath. CHT will manage the restoration to provide access to a safe historic building and education about the church and local history. They will also provide accommodation, healthy activities and traditional (crafting, heritage, building and eco) education for all.

The charity provides riding and carriage-driving activities for disabled individuals.

WE PROVIDE A COMMUNITY BUILDING AND GARDEN FOR PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, EG YOUTH SESSIONS, PRE-TEEN, KIDS, TODDLERS AND OVER 60S CLUBS, INCLUDING SPORTS, GAMES ROOM, COMPUTER SUITE, ARTS & CRAFTS. LOCAL PEOPLE MANAGE AND VOLUNTEER AT THE CENTRE AND ARE INVOLVED IN THE DECISION MAKING. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH SCHOOLS, POLICE, COUNCILLORS, YOUTH WORKERS & RESIDENTS.

Preservation and restoration of the Borde Hill Collection.The provision of education and training in horticulture, with a focus on the Borde Hill Collection, for all ages of the general public.

Horticultural Therapy for Volunteers. Social Services referrals & Mental Heath Organisations. Providing Unemployed people with work experience in Gardening. Sunnyside's Aims & Objectives are for total inclusiveness in all Disabilities and all areas of the Community it is based in.

The provision of public open space for the purpose of healthful recreation

PROTECTING AND ENHANCING GREEN SPACES ACROSS LANCASTER FOR THE BENEFIT OF WILDLIFE, LANDSCAPE AND THE COMMUNITY.

(2) encouraging visitors and locals to use the Town (3) working in partnership to the develop initiatives which provide encouragement and opportunity for young people to develop skills, employment and business opportunities 5) Supporting the local strategy to develop green spaces for public enjoyment

To hold land as public open space with a grade 2 mansion

To promote for the benefit of the residents of Didcot and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation .

To promote the benefit of the residents in the area of benefit without distinctions of sex, race, political or religion and people with disabilities. To provide building and facilities for all residents to enjoy and act as umbrella or resource body.To encourage all residents in the area to join with us as a community

The Community Centre delivers recreational and educational activities for local people including children, young people, families and elderly residents activities include after school kids club, youth clubs, pensioners clubs, Bingo, , Community events & excursions, cookery classes and a wide range of educational activities & Courses to upskill, improve health & wellbeing and reduce isolation.

The charity supports all aspects of the management of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex by providing finance, volunteer assistance, staff accommodation and advice. Meetings and events for members of the charity are held to assist with fund raising.
