The Charity arranged the replacement of a wooden 'hut' and now manages the running and development of a Community Pavilion sited on the Village Green at Swavesey Cambridge consisting of changing rooms, a kitchen and community room. These facilities are available for hire to local community groups and members of the public for appropriate activities in order to fund the upkeep of the Pavilion.

Through a series of lectures, visits and cultural activities and by promoting and running a Working Holiday for international volunteers to the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens as well as the International Horticultural Internship Scheme, the Friends of JBG have continued to support its objectives.

The charity distributes food parcels to those experiencing food poverty in Otley and the surrounding area. It operates from Spring Gardens, Westbourne Grove Otley. Non-perishable food is donated at collection points in the town, made up into parcels and delivered to individuals and families referred from outside agencies. We may donate to other charitable groups who alleviate food poverty

OLDEN COMMUNITY GARDEN IS A TWO-ACRE SITE IN ISLINGTON. THE GARDEN IS RUN ON ORGANIC PRINCIPLES, AND PROVIDES A BASE FOR GARDENING-RELATED AND GENERAL ACTIVITIES. THE GARDEN IS OPEN TO KEY-HOLDING MEMBERS, AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS. THE GARDEN HAS LINKS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO OPEN SPACE AND OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT GARDENING.

Dig It Community Allotment run regular activity sessions at our allotment site and local outdoor spaces where we welcome people of all ages and abilities. Volunteers can come and learn about food growing, healthy eating, plants and eco garden & site management whilst keeping fit and being part of a friendly, supportive group.

To conserve and protect for the benefit of the public, the environment as a whole with its animal and plant life. In particular to conserve, protect and maintain Rowhill Copse in association with Rushmoor Borough Council. To maintain a nature area and a Field Centre building. To organise walks and conduct talks with a view to advancing the education of the public (including school pupils).

The Charity's volunteers carry out most of the management of the Botanic Garden, including gardening, plant records and woodland management. We show visitors around the Garden and arrange gardening and botanical training courses, walks and garden visits. We arrange concerts and other entertainments at the Garden and hold plants sales.
