THE VILLAGE HALL IS TO PROVIDE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH A MEETING PLACE AND ACTIVITY CENTRE FOR USE AT VERY REASONABLE RATES.THE KING GEORGE V PLAYING FIELD IS FOR USE BY ALL LOCAL RESIDENTS FOR SPORT, PLAY AREA AND PROVIDING ACCESS TO A FREE OPEN SPACE FOR ALL SORTS OF OTHER ACTIVITIES.

Owns and maintains Rolvenden War Memorial along with the green and hedge around the memorial. Owns and maintains both Rolvenden Village andRolvenden Layne Playing Fields along with supporting activities taking place within the village, especially using the playing fields.

Play Area for all ages

The fields are used for informal use, organised ameteur football, rugby and a ladies rounders league

The object of the charity is the provision of a welfare hall and recreational facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The Trustees of Blidworth Recreation Centre provide recreational facilities to benefit the inhabitants of the parish of Blidworth and locality without prejudice.The Trustee Body is made up of volunteers by election including members of the affiliated sections (ie football, cricket, Brass Band and bowls sections).

The Pontardawe Sports and Community Recreation Association was formed to undertake the day to day management and maintenance of the Pontardawe Recreation Ground. This includes ensuring the member clubs of the Association have continued access to sporting facilities at the site but also aims to ensure the 'Rec' can continue to be enjoyed by the community whilst broadening its use to other users.
