Village Hall

to provide and maintain a Village Hall and recreation ground for use by the Parish of Clifford Chambers and Milcote

The charity's activities are to maintain the local recreation ground & sports pavilion, enhance the provision of sports in the village, and support good causes locally.

THE CIO OWNS A RECREATION GROUND KNOWN AS YNYS PARK WHICH CONTINUES TO BE WELL USED BY THE COMMUNITY WITH A NUMBER OF LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAMS USING THE GROUND COVERING A VARYING AGE GROUPS FROM JUNIOR THROUGH TO SENIOR TEAMS, AND A NEWLY REFURBISHED COMMUNITY CENTRE WHICH PROVIDES A FOCAL POINT FOR THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

Winterton Playing Fields Association is a charity charged with the running of the playing field in the town of Winterton. The playing field and associated buildings is leased from the Winterton Town Council and has to be run for the enjoyment of all inhabitents of the town.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the Great Shelford Recreation ground in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area, including the preservation, support, assistance and improvement of Great Shelford rec.

Public and open space for leisure and recreation.Income recieved by way of rent from two properties on site:1. The Barn, currently used as restaurent2. 28 Bath Road, currently occupied by another charity -The Slough Refugee Support

Development and maintenance of local playing field and facilities.Development and maintenance of community hall

Art classes, Quiz nights, amateur comedy/musical shows. Summer & Christmas fayres, monthly Farmer's market, afternoon teas, Children's Play and Stay and monthly social 'pub' evening.

Provides sports and recreational facilities and events for the people of Shalbourne and the surrounding area.

The Trustees provide a recreation ground for use of parishioners, visitors and sporting clubs.

Walton le Dale Recreation Society run a purpose built Community Centre and 7 acres of communal park land with a designated children's play area. The centre is in constant use by members of the local community and user groups. Fund raising is done by the charity on top of its user group income and 100% of all funds raised are used to maintain and further develop the community centre and grounds.

The object of the foundation is the provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Houghton and the neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use of meetings, lectures and classes and for the purpose of physical exercise and training and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation..

The object of the charity shall be to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the inhabitants of the parish of Milton Lilbourne for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Operation and maintenance of a Village Hall. Provide playing field facilities and a hall for village use. Organise and run fund raising activities.

The Playing Fields Association provides and maintains sports and recreational facilities for the benefit of all age groups in the community. It also provides in-door facilities for pre-school and out of school educational groups as well as local group activities.

Playgroups to parties, caravan rallies to theatre nights, garden societies to church services, bridge clubs to wedding functions. The provision of facilities to the residents in and around Whittlebury to undertake and enjoy a variety of events, including a HUG Friday Coffee Morning, a season of Film Nights, Karate Club, Church Fete, Evening classes and lectures together with meetings of the Youth Club. The Playing Field also continues to be open daily for use by the children and families of the village.
