We are an almshouse charity providing flats in Taunton to people aged 60 and over who are in need and capable of independent living. We provide part time warden assistance and every flat benefits from communal laundries and our beautiful gardens. We also run a monthly grant scheme that benefits Taunton Deane residents who can demonstrate financial need.

Narthex Sparkhill seeks to promote inter cultural harmony within the inner-city area of Sparkhill, Birmingham by provision of community facilities and education opportunities. Current regular activities offered are:Foodbank, one stop advice centre, domestic violence support, friendship cafe, youth club, lunch club for the elderly and refugee drop-in and resource centre.

FREE BEAUTY THERAPY AND HOLISTIC TREATMENTS FOR LOCAL PEOPLE WITH CANCER, AT AURORA CENTRES IN DRI, MEXBOROUGH, SCOT LANE, WORKSOP.FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES E.G. ANNUAL FASHION EVENTS, FUN RUNS, MUSIC FESTIVALS.COFFEE MORNINGS AND SUPPORT GROUPS.AURORA CARE TO GIVE CHARITY SHOP ON SCOT LANE, DONCASTER, AND BRIC-A-BRAC SHOP AT WORKSOP WELLBEING CENTRE; PROCEEDS OF WHICH ARE DONATED TO AURORA.

Provides Education, training and development to the local community

On 13/11/11 the Trust leased from Lambeth Council for a period of 125 years 2.5 acres of land and community sports facilities based at the Black Prince Community Hub, London SE11 6AA. The facilities include three football pitches, two multi sport pitches, a sports hall with two gyms, two basketball courts and an education room, as well as a community building housing third sector partners.

The Vineyard Community Centre opened in March 2012 with a vision to meet needs for the homeless and the socially excluded. The Centre provides a morning drop-in, an afternoon community cafe, a foodbank and a charity shop.

CARAS (Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers) is a community organisation with members from all over London. CARAS works closely with a number of organisations in south London to deliver services for refugees and asylum seekers. Projects include after school and youth clubs, ESOL classes, a women's drop-in and advocacy casework.

A community and healthy living centre providing services in arts & crafts, befriending, complementary therapies, creche, day care, health & exercise, IT & educational classes, leisure activities, information & advice on services for older people, community transport, support advice & health groups, restaurant, volunteering opportunities, walking for health schemes and youth activities.

Preservation of the listed building of the former church of St Albans at Teddington Lock and its development as an arts and community centre via a programme of visual and performing arts events and provision of arts education classes.

We offer affordable activities to the local community. Activities include Drop In for the under 5s and their parents/carers; junior, intermediate and senior youth clubs; holiday play-schemes; monthly tea-dances; ESOL classes; Over 50s Activities; community events; After School Clubs; art club; dance and drama club We rent out our spaces to generate funding to run the projects.

The Garden Classroom delivers high quality activities in natural environments. Education, recreation and community activities are at the heart of what TGC does. It connects people with nature and with each other, in nature, and cultivates an interest in the natural world. Outdoor learning & recreation in natural environments, countryside projects and camping are at the heart of TGC's service.

The Chalice Well and Gardens, maintained as a living sanctuary for contemplation and healing are open to visitors every day of the year. The Trust provides an annual programme of spiritual music, community gatherings and educational retreats to people of all faiths and spiritual paths. The Trust offers an annual subscription to supporters, retreat accommodation and a meeting room.
