To provide safe, clean and accessible community facilities for recreation and education with the object of improving the conditions of life and social welfare of the inhabitants of Wolverton and its environs.

The charity exists to provide and maintain Lawton Memorial Hall, a community facility open to all for social, educational and recreational purposes. The Trust gives particular consideration to meeting social need - e.g. for the elderly- within its area of benefit which is largely within SE Cheshire and N. Staffs. The Trust is mainly self-funding.

Operation of The Village Hall of Kingswood & Broomfield

Provision of village hall premises for hire by the residents and organisations of Marsh Gibbon and surrounding area. The hall is used for many different types of activities.

Provides a community centre for recreation, education, sports, social and spiritual activities for use by groups and the local population.

Leases & manages King Edward Community Centre, Chatteris. Provides accommodation for more than 30 voluntary community groups for educational, social, & recreational activities. Arranges educational, social and recreational activities for residents of Chatteris and surrounding area. Produces & distributes 4,500 copies of 12 page community newsletter.

CARE, MAINTENANCE OF THE LOCAL VILLAGE HALL TO SERVICE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Acts as a grant making body and resource for information and advice to Unitarian and Free Christian congregations throughout London and the South East. Sponsors SimpleGifts:Unitarian Centre for Social Action, its related community centre and training programmes in London and across the UK.

We are a Community Centre operating in the Warbreck Ward area of North Liverpool, social, education and leisure opportunities for the community. The activities we offer are; senior citizens activities, health/well being events, learning circles, adult education classes, social activities and community resource for local residents groups

Tickton Village Hall is the primary community building in the Parish of Tickton and Routh, providing a facility for local groups and organisations. Activities include a pre school, indoor bowls, social events, youth club, ladies choir, arts & crafts and the hall hosts various meetings for local government, Parish Council and others.

Raising funds for the construction of a Scout Community Centre, to replace the old Scout Hut which became unsafe and had to be demolished in 2022.

To provide a recreation ground and welfare amenities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants (in particular but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community).

Letting of hall and rooms to small local organisations, residents and charities at beneficial rates. Great benefit to all the people living in the area as this type of accommodation is otherwise difficult to find.
