The Mabel Gale Bequest maintains 12 one bedroomed flats and surrounding gardens for elderly poor ladies in Bridport, Dorset.

Maintain and manage the Holland Public Hall, enabling many diverse community groups to use the resources. Providing a safe and pleasant environment with full Disabled access. Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations and COVID 19 regulations are followed. Providing a valuable resource to the community of CO15 in accordance with our constitution.

Our Village Hall provides space for a wide range of activities for the people of Penruddock and district. The hall is 110 years old next year. It occupies a central position in the village. We have gained four grants and two legacies this year to continue the plan of improvements. This will form the remit of the Management Trustees looking ahead into 2015. Thank you everyone for your help.

The Trustees may apply the Funds to or for such charitable institution or purposes as they in their absolute discretion see fit with a focus on two different fields; the micro-funding of community action & community service programmes, and the support of academic excellence in teaching and learning.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS THE ONLY FACILITY IN THE VILLAGE & ALL VILLAGE SOCIETIES & ACTIVITIES ARE HELD IN THE HALL.

The management committee are responsible for the running of a community centre. The centre is used by groups for various activities e.g Playgroup. The building is also used for weddings and parties. The committee also fundraise by holding dances, table top sales and bingo.

The village hall is for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Messingham without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condtions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Association manages and maintains the community centre which it hires out to clubs and groups to provide various activities. It promotes education and recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life for all members of the community.

The management of Compton Martin Village Hall which offers a community base for well established and innovative user groups both within the community and the surrounding area. Our hall hire fees to these groups provides the primary source of income.The trustees hold fund raising events to augment this letting income. This supports the long term aim of maintaining the fabric of the hall.

The Burgh Village Hall is used by the community for village activities ie indoor bowling, luncheon club, sports activities etc and the recreation centre is used for local bookings ie bingo, meetings etc

Hiring of hall with small bar facilities.

The principal activity of the trust is the provision and maintenance of Blakeney Village Hall. This is achieved by the hiring out of the hall and the running of a bar as an adjacent to certain hirings.

Operation of Fownhope New Memorial Hall for benefit of local residents, clubs and other organisations.

We provide opportunities of play, education and other diversionary activities in the safe environment of our youth centre for young people aged 8 to 25 years, but prioritising our work with 13 to 19 year olds. Our work includes sport, art & craft, music & dance, group activities, residential trips and educational projects.

Hire of hall facilities.

For the use of the inhabitants of Houghton Conquest and the neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions and in particular for the use for reading, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condidition of life for the said inhabitants.

Recreation ground, playing field and community centre for inhabitants of Camerton parish and neighbourhood. Facilities for physical exercise, training, meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of leisure-time acitvities as the committee see fit, with the object of improving quality of life for the said inhabitants.

Provides for nursery schools, local organizations re t dancing karate and many other local amenities; Bingo, Dance Club, Indoor Bowls and local dances i.e. weddings and local parties and citizen advice bureau.

Highfield Hall Community Centre - this is a community resource for leisure and educational pursuits, with group usage for art circle, karate, community events and gatherings for Table Tennis club, drama and choral groups, and childcare provision.
