The support of the medical work carried out at the Sheba Medical Centre in the Tal Hashomer Hospital.

TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENTS OF THE PAEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL SOUTHAMPTON BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY).

To run & operate one coffee shop and trolley service, funds to be used on the hospital, patients and staff amenities.

The objectives and activities of the League of Friends are to encourage and maintain the interest of the public in the patients and to support the work of the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Herne Bay.

TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF SWANAGE HOSPITAL

Helping St Bartholomew's Hospital by personal service and by the provision of such amenities for the patients and staff as would not be available for them under the NHS

The charity provides amenities to improve the comfort of the patients & staff of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Medical research is also supported & substantial grants made for works of improvement benefiting patients, staff & visiting relatives. The charity is able, from time to time, to purchase medical & surgical equipment which the Trust is unable to fund from its own budget.

To provide patients in the Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital with comforts and amenities including facilities, buildings & equipment not normally available through the NHS & in certain circumstances to subscribe towards specialised equipment located or to be located at other hospitals which also serve our community.

1 League of Friends Snack Bar providing drinks and refreshments to the patients and carers of the Hospital.

We are a subscription organisation that undertakes various fundraising activities, ie run stalls, raffles; we also manage the hospital shop which is run entirely by volunteers, and we accept legacies & donations from the general public.

Annual Fundraising Events, running of Charity Shop and Social Activities To raise Funds for Malton , Norton and District HospitalSupport Malton Hospital through the provision of medical equipment and also support ex-patients in their own homes when discharged from Hospital and requiring continuing support though care in their home

The charity runs a shop and tea bar at Orpington Hospital.

THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS GENERALLY SUPPORTS THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE NUFFIELD ORTHOPAEDIC CENTRE. IE IT PROVIDES AMENITIES FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF AND ASSISTS WITH THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT, WHICH WHILE NOT ESSENTIAL, WILL PROMOTE IMPROVED TREATMENT AND, OR COMFORT FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF.

Making grants to pay for medical equipment, patient comforts and staff resources, or the provision of other assistance, to improve the care and treatment of patients of the Bristol Eye Hospital.

Raising funds to assist and support Alyn Hospital, Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Centre, Jerusalem.

To raise money for the purchase of equipment and amenities for the benefit of both patients and staff in our local hospitals and in the community.

To relieve and support patients and former patients of the hospital and the wards and departments at the hospital in carrying out their work.

PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE - MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ETC - TO PATIENTS AND STAFF OF EALING HOSPITAL.

TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE HOSPITAL AND RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT AND IMPROVE FACILITIES AT THE HOSPITAL AND TO RELIEVE PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS OF THE HOSPITAL OR PEOPLE IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, INFIRM OR IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The objects of the Friends shall be to provide support and assistance to patients of the Blandford Community Hospital and preserve and protect the health of the community by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the NHS or statutory authorities.

The provision of those extras and luxuries that the NHS does not provide for its patients, and those caring for them.

The charity supports the Nixon Memorial Hospital in Segbwema Sierra Leone. It funds essential medicine provision, staff training, community health work through latrine building and health education. It facilitates voluntary medical staff to work at the hospital and also funds infrastructure projects including improvements to the water supply on the hospital site.

The object of the League is to relieve patients of the Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and, generally to support the charitable work of the above Hospital.

Foster interest in the Ilkeston Community Hospital, support the work of the hospital by means of voluntary services, raising funds, receiving donations etc and ensure monies received are spent wisely.

Our principal activity is to support the patients of the Woking Community Hospital by donating funds to the Hospital. We raise these funds from subscriptions, from donations, including those from sponsored events, from legacies and from events which we organise locally.
