'Plymouth & West Devon Cassette talking Newspaper' creates and distributes audio cassettes of local or relevant news items on a weekly basis to blind folk in the Plymouth and West Devon Area. There are currently about 200 registered users of the service for which no charge is made.

To provide such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the Local Education Authority for Joseph Clarke School for the visually impaired of London E4 9PP. To educate and assist visually impaired young persons through their leisure time activities to develop their physical mental and spiritual capacities.

The association is established for charitable objectives and purposes only and for the care, welfare, interest, treatment, education and advancement of persons with any form of Cerebral Palsy or with a related disability, their families and carers (hereinafter referred to as the 'clients').

The main objectives of the Trust are: (a) to promote the education of deaf children who are resident in the City of Bristol or the neighbouring District, and (b) to benefit deaf persons by making provision for the education of adults and the technical training of persons over 16 years of age

We are affiliated to the National Deaf Childrens Society and our aim is to support and advise families in all aspects of hearing impairment from birth to young adulthood. Our role covers the social, welfare, education, medical and technological aspects of deafness in children. The trust provides counselling for those who are pregnant and worried, who have post abortion problems or distress about a miscarriage. Free pregnancy testing is available. The counselling is for men as well as women

we raise monies locally in Ventnor to give back to people in the same locality to help alleviate the hardships caused by funding travelling costs to treatments, much of which entails travel to the mainland. Please note that we only operate in the Ventnor and district area

To give help to the need and distress of people with cancer or with other illnesses who can benefit from its services, and their families and friends. It does this through counselling, healing, relaxation, diet advice and supporting therapy work. Based in an appropriately equipped centre, all its work is complementary to the treatment given by patients' own doctors or hospitals.

To provide local news, information and items of general interest in an audio format to members of the blind and partially sighted community on the Wirral.

We are a local charity for the Blind & Partially Sighted in the West Suffolk Council area. We provide weekly audio newsletters on digital memory stick, containing news extracted from local newspapers, and bi-monthly audio magazines containing interviews, short stories and articles of local interest.The service is free of charge to Listeners including the supply of digital players.

We perform extracts or full performances of the Gilbert & Sullivan operas and stage a concerts, and support local charities from our profits. Our Christmas carol concerts are always in support of the local Macmillan Cancer Trust.

The choir travel to various concert venues, singing to raise money for charities such as Leukaemia & Cancer Research, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance to name but a few. Production and distribution of approximately 200 memory sticks containing local news each week to the blind and partially sighted in the Tendring area.
