Mind in Haringey provides information, advice and support to people affected by mental health problems, primarily in Haringey. We work to prevent mental health problems, promote mental well being and ensure those with mental health problems are respected and included in our local community.

Provide emergency refuge accommodation to persons and children affected by domestic abuse. We support families in the community with floating support and outreach. Specialist services for children and young persons.Other services include the running of the Freedom Programme, Recovery Toolkit, substance misuse, counselling, homeopathy and fun days out. awareness raising.

Provision of housing for vulnerable people. Support available for the general public in areas such as money advice, debt counselling and budgeting, drug and alcohol abuse, benefit claiming and housing. Charitable trading via furniture shops in Southend-On-Sea - these shops provide opportunities for beneficiaries of the project to volunteer, gain experience and even be employed.

The objects of the Company are the advancement of all matters concerning the mental health and development of children, young people and their families by promoting and disseminating scientific research and scholarship, and their implications for the evidence-base of multi-disciplinary clinical practice.

Growing Space provides rehabilitation, sheltered training and work experience within the community for adults with or recovering from mental health problems. We offer two vocational training routes in horticulture and woodwork and also enable access to a work based learning programme, which includes IT training and personally tailored training in agreed key skill areas and confidence building.

Our aim is to enhance the lives of physically disabled adults and those with cognitive and sensory impairment, to support them to live life to the full. We provide social activities to connect people, build friendships, reducing loneliness and isolation. We encourage people to develop new skills and achieve independence. The Charity operates in Dorset and Hampshire, operating 13 Charity Shops.The profits of which are used to help and support those who have, or have had Breast Cancer.ie equipment needed in Hospitals that would not have been supplied by the NHS.The Charity has also set up it's own Breast Cancer Support Centre in Wimborne, where financial help and advice can be given regarding post op wigs/bras

The Society's primary activity is to provide care and support to older people through the provision of residential care services at its site in Silverdale, Lancashire, plus a retirement living complex and a supported living unit, also on site. These services are open to all older people in need regardless of their mental or physical frailty and include people with dementia and end of life care.

The provision of supported accommodation for homeless vulnerable families, lone parent families, including lone mothers, fathers and teenage mothers 16 & 17 years of age, and pregnant women.Floating support in the community for vulnerable families working towards prevention, early-intervention and longer-term Tier 2 support. Bedford Hospitals Charity was founded in 1988 to improve the equipment and facilities for patients and staff at Bedford Hospitals. It has raised 9.5million, notably 2.5million for the Primrose Oncology Unit and 765,000 for cancer projects. The appeal to raise 750,000 to expand cancer services at Bedford is now complete and the current one is for a new MRI scanner costing over 1million.
