The BIEA is active in research into the history, archaeology and social sciences of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and surrounding countries. THE ISLES OF SCILLY WILDLIFE TRUST MANAGES THE WILDLIFE SITES WHICH MAKE UP 60% OF SCILLY. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF THE UNINHABITED ISLANDS, ISLETS AND ROCKS INCLUDING THE INTER-TIDAL AREAS. IT IS THE JOB OF THE TRUST TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE WILDLIFE OF THE ISLANDS AND THE SEA, AND CONSERVE OR RESTORE THE HABITATS, LANDSCAPE AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PUBLIC.

The Partnership is established to conserve, protect and maintain the coastal,environmental and natural heritage of the Thames for the public benefit.It covers the Tidal Thames from Chelsea to Shoeburyness in Essex and the Isle of Grain in Kent dealing with Education, Dredging,Research,Recreation ,Archaeology and Fisheries, river transport, riverside development and others.

THE SHIP WILL BE BUILT ON THE SURVIVING INFORMATION AND THE BEST ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF THE DAY. THE SHIP WILL BE TRIALLED ON THE WATER TO TEST HYPOTHESES ABOUT ITS USE. THE BUILD AND TRIALS WILL INVOLVE SHIPWRIGHTS AND ROWERS OF ALL ABILITIES, THE COUNTRY WILL ACQUIRE A HISTORICAL ICON.
