Oystermouth Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and Grade 1 Listed Building. Access and presentation is supervised by this charity which promotes the history and heritage of the site to visitors and provides a venue for many school, college and university students. The castle hosts Medieval Re-enactments and Living History Societies which recreate aspects of life during the Middle Ages.

As at 31 March 2023 the school had a total of 78(2022- 64) students varying in age from 5 to 18 and including some English based children.
