Stourton Memorial Hall was built by the late Sir Henry Arthur Hoare as a permanent memorial to his son Captain "Harry" Hoare and other local men killed in WWI.

Our charity provides a village hall as a permanent war memorial to those who lost their lives in World War 2. We provide facilities for many local organisations from pre-school aged children to senior citizens, raising revenue from lettings & fundraising to maintain & improve the hall for future use.

Grants for educational and sporting puposes to the City of London School, its pupils and associated persons, Bursaries for less privileged pupils and the support of the above persons and former pupils and associates of the City of London School who are distressed or in poverty

The charity was established with the object of providing a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Little Shelford. The Felsted Memorial Hall is a multi-functional hall, providing a centre piece for the village and its surrounding Rural Community. It provides a focus for all age groups of our community to meet together or in appropriate or specialist groups. It ensures that the whole spectrum of our Community have a suitable venue in which to enjoy social, recreational, leisure and educational activities.

Sport and Recreation

The object of the charity shall be the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ramsbury without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the objects of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
