Grants to organisations working with refugees and asylum seekers, people with mental health or learning disabilities, desistance from crime, domestic violence. Grants are given to organisations working in NE England and Central Scotland. A small number of grants are given for restoration of architecturally important churches. The capital and income of the Trust shall be applied to such charitable corporations, trusts, associations, or institutions for charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall decide and for the preservation of trust land and buildings for the benefit of the nation or the inhabitants for the time being.

The management of the Georgian Theatre and Georgian Theatre Experience, Richmond, North Yorkshire

The charity provides and operates a visual and performing arts venue that is affordable and accessible for all. It provides a vibrant and engaging museum and Treasury display of silver together with inspirational education and arts experiences and access to SCC Local Records digitally. Several thousand photographs of local historical interest are available for public viewing.

We provide support and accommodation for people affected by Domestic Abuse. We offer temporary accommodation in a safe and supportive refuge where women and their children can recover from the traumatic effects of Domestic Abuse and make informed choices. We also offer a range of community services, courses and counselling to support women to rebuild their lives after abuse.

Avoncroft is a museum of historic buildings rescued from imminent destruction and carefully rebuilt on an open-air site near Bromsgrove in the north of Worcestershire. Our principal aim isTo inspire enthusiasm for and understanding of the history of building as illustrated at Avoncroft, and the relationship of people with the buildings they constructed and in which they lived and worked.

The museum records, preserves and interprets the history of the area between the new forest and the sea. The art gallery works with regional and national art galleries to stage exhibitions combining both local and national interest. Activities/events are organised 'in house' for youngsters, families, schools, the elderly and those with limited mobility.

The charity's purpose is to ensure the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the Parish Church of St Wilfrid, Standish, and the surrounding churchyard. For income it seeks donations from the congregation and wider public, and welcomes legacies and bequests. With this income it funds major items of upkeep and repair that the parish finds necessary for this Grade 1 listed building.

ICOM UK is the national committee of the International Council of Museums. It organises an annual conference and delivers workshops throughout England to build the international work and profile of the UK's museums and galleries. It provides travel bursaries to members, free entry to museums in the UK and throughout the world and a global network of other museum professionals and organisations.

The laying out, planting, improvement, maintenance and upkeep of the trust land as a garden for the enjoyment of the public and also for the purposes of experimentation and research (by the growth and propagation of trees and plants of any kind and in any manner) with a view to the futherance of the study and science of botany and the increase of knowledge in respect thereof.

To further education, learning and research related to the history of late medieval England (and in particular the life & reign of King Richard III) and to disseminate the results of such education, learning and research through the commissioning, preparation and publication of books, documents and by such other means as the Trustees may at their discretion determine.

The Trust's objects and principal activities are to preserve for the benefit of the inhabitants of Great Yarmouth buildings of special beauty or of historic or architectural interest. The Trust is developing projects which deliver training in practical conservation skills.

The objects of the charity are to preserve, protect and improve, for the benefit of the general public, the natural history, historical, archaeological and religious sites and other amenities of Bardsey Island.The Charity's vision is also for Enlli (Bardsey Island) to continue as the exemplar of Welsh island life that supports a vibrant island community.
