Mission statement: The museum aims to interpret the history and way of life of the people of Cambridge and Cambridgeshire through its collections and other resources for the education and delight of all.

Present public productions of plays, musicals etc. - normally 12 shows a season, plus music and comedy nights throughout the year Train people in all aspects of theatre. Run 5 youth groups who learn stagecraft & public performance & we work closely with local schools and colleges to whom we offer workshops & low-cost tickets. Maintain & develop a Grade II listed building.

Study and conservation of historic buildings of all ages and types

1) To clean and care for the graves, memorials and resting places of recipients of the Victoria Cross and their families thereby maintaining and caring for their memory.2) To educate the public in the stories and history behind the recipients of the Victoria Cross thereby maintaining their memory.Supporting our military veteran community and their families as we pursue our charitable aims.

Visitor led organisation that works with museums throughout the UK to make them more welcoming of all families, children and young people.

We are an educational charity providing historical, geographical and environmental education about the Thames. We promote access, physical, intellectual and emotional to the Thames and it's environment.

Advance the education of the public in the preservation of aircraft and aeronautical equipment of historical, technical or other public interest relating to Coventry in particular and to the Midlands and aviation generally.The Museum's mission is to be recognised as one of the leading independent collections, renowned for its friendly atmosphere and exceptional standards of customer service.

Teachers teach the Greek language, history, culture, singing and dance to pupils of the school during classes held for each age group each Saturday morning from 9.30 am to 1.15 pm. Bursaries are given to 11 deserving pupils based on the financial need of the parents in each case.

St Chad's Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility, in coordinating with the Vicar, of promoting in the Ecclesiastical Parish the whole mission of Church pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.It is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of St Chad?s church and churchyard at Patshull Road, Pattingham and for the churchyard of St Mary?s, Patshull.

The trust operates the museum and shop with the help of volunteers, organising exhibitions, education and community activities in the museum and function rooms. It undertakes its responsibilities as landlord and fundraises in order to maintain the buildings and promote its other activities.

To advance public education in the history of British airfields by the establishment and support of museums, the preservation of the historical details and records of airfields, the erection of memorials at sites of National and historical importance and promote research for the public benefit. To further such other exclusively charitable objects as the Trustees determine from time to time.

To promote the permanent preservation of vehicles of any type being old and of historic interest or scientific importance and to educate the public in the history of transport and the technical details, engineering and performance of such vehicles.

To provide social and educational activities for children, teenagers and adults with learning and physical disabilities. We run three social clubs on a weekly basis covering various age groups. We have a small holding where members grow produce which we sell to raise funds. We arrange trips out to theatres, zoos, museums and other places of interest and organise an annual holiday.

Preservation of ancient building and grounds-interpretation to public at large. Charity events connected with the site.

The acquisition, preservation and restoration of historic fairground organs for the benefit of the public.

Local history museum, exhibitions, events and childrens activities.

The Railway Company exists to operate the heritage railway including restoration and maintenance of railway diesel and steam locomotives, railway carriages, railway wagons, buildings and infrastructure. This is for the benefit, pleasure and education of members and visitors to the railway.

The Welsh Highland Railway Ltd operates a narrow gauge steam railway in Porthmadog in order to revive and preserve the spirit of the original railway that closed in 1937. The charity owns, maintains and operates Russell, the sole surviving steam engine from the original railway, now over 100 years old, together with other heritage rolling stock and artefacts. A new museum building opened in 2009.

To encourage and promote public interest in the preservation of historical steam powered road vehicles, fairground and agricultural equipment and to promote safe operation, maintenance, repair and exhibition of such equipment by organising training programmes, publication of books and codes of practice and by supporting skills development programmes for youngsters and adults.

The aims of the charity are:- to promote, facilitate, undertaken and assist in the conservation and enhancement of the Roundhouse Birmingham building and grounds for public benefit and enjoyment;- to advance the education of the public in the history of Roundhouse Birmingham and the surrounding area; and- to further such other exclusively charitable purposes incidental to the above objects

The Brighton Toy and Model Museum exhibits and cares for toys and commercial models from the last four centuries and preserves them to educate and inspire people of all ages.
