Building preservation.

The museum contains over 3000 artefacts relating to country life from a bygone age. The museum is open to the public on Sunday afternoon during the summer period and during the Heritage Open Days weekend. It also welcomes private visits throughout the year from clubs and individuals. The museum also organises educational days for schools and loans out items to local shows and events.

The Lymm Clothing Charity has responsibility for the management of several long standing investment endowments, dating back to the 17th century, income from these investments is distributed annually to needy residents of the parishes of Lymm & Oughtrington, subject to satisfactory completion of an application form. There is also provision for one off payments at any time for special cases.

The Voice of Mauritius promote the culture and history of Mauritius, the vom held a range social, cultural and educational activities in aid of disadvantaged communities in England and Wales.

Maintenance of public War Memorial

Our objectives are to stimulate interest in the village of Downton and its history, to encourage high standards of planning and to influence the preservation and improvement of historic sites and buildings in our village.

The objects of the Charity are to encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in the Holme Valley Parish Council area, to stimulate the interest of the public in the beauty, history, natural history, character and architecture of the area, and to influence the development and improvement of features of historic interest or public amenity in the area.

Restoration, prservation, repair, maintenance etc of Church of St Andrew & St Eustachius, for the benefit of the people of Suffolk and the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

To further knowledge of the genealogy, heraldry and family history of Daltons all over the world and to embrace all those who bear the surname Dalton in its many variants.

From 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012 we have supported the following organisations; The Walker Street Contact Club, Victim Support, Daggards for Charity, St. Mary`s Church, Swine, E Yorks, restoration, Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Investigation Camera, Camphill Family, Botton Village nr. Whitby, N.Yorks, British Lung Foundation, Province of Yorks. N&E Riding,

CVAHS organises archaeological evaluation & excavations, including training excavations and carries out historical research. It also arranges talks six times a year

we hold games evenings, meet at the local pubs and discuss world events and put them right,we are having visits to the theatre and museums in london, we have two yearly events to raise funds at Easter and Christmas,

Holds meetings. Co-operates with local authorities , planning committees, and all other statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and charities. Holds fund raising events. Helps to promote civic pride in the local area and to generate public interest in and care for its beauty, history and character.

THIS SOCIETY ENJOYS MONTHLY MEETINGS FROM SEPTEMBER TO THE FOLLOWING APRIL, WHICH ARE ADDRESSED BY GUEST SPEAKERS TALKING ON A SPECIFIC TOPIC OF LOCAL INTEREST FROM AN HISTORICAL POINT OF VIEW. WE ALSO ARRANGE DAY EXCURSIONS TO PLACES OF INTEREST IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.

Community council provides recreational facilities, a community hall and cemeteries. The charity relates only to the memorial gardens and hall. The community council makes grants to organisations, not the charity.

The Association was formed in 1958 to work for the restoration, preservation and improvement of all the inland waterways in East Anglia for the benefit of the general public. The association covers the Lincolnshire waterways, Middle Levels, the four main rivers and tributaries flowing out into the Wash, the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads and the detached navigations in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Educational trust, established in the late 18th century which provides grants to young persons under 25 years of age who are resident in the County of Wiltshire, but with a preference for those residing in the town of Devizes and who are in need of financial assistance.

To preserve for the benefit of the people of Bristol and the nation at large, whatever of the English historical, architectural and constructional heritage may exist in and around the City of Bristol in the form of buildings of particular beauty or historial, architectural or constructional interest or ancient monuments.

The charity assists in the repair and maintenance of All Saints Church, Allesley, Coventry.

To maintain a memorial to Admiral Arthur Phillip RN and to perpetuate his memory by an annual service.

To maintain a Memorial Garden in Painswick

Talks and activities in support of The Thetford museum. £380 spent on badge making machine and £75 for new logo design artwork in 2013.?300 was spent for free Museum trails and £250 match funding for WWI HLF project in 2014.£1000 match funding for the Duleep Singh Room in 2015.£250 for trails in 2016.£600 grant for History Club,£377 for storage boxes and £152 for Microscope all for Museum use.

To purchase Masonic memorabilia,books,works of art,manuscripts etc which come up for sale so as to preserve them for the Craft for all time.All purchases will either be donated or placed on loan with the Library & Museum of Freemasonry or other approved(by UGLE)museums. To provide funds for the advancement of Masonic education,knowledge and learning in all things Masonic.
